10. Give Yourself A Hand
Jourdan Lewis has this guy locked down so hard he can't even get his head around until a second after the ball flies past.
9. Glasgow Smash
The center probably dared to call him a walk-on. That is not advised.
8. Totally Natural Flinch
Seems legit.
7. WHEN WILL YOU LEARN
Sure, throwing a screen towards an unblocked Jabrill Peppers is a grand idea.
6. Chesson Out Of Nowhere
Head on a swivel, #16. Not that you probably need the reminder today.
5. Jim Harbaugh, Hype Man
Rudock took more punishment during this timeout than he did during the actual game.
4. Grandpa Tanner Simpson

I'm not separating out all the Darboh and Smith GIFs because I genuinely want to see which play people liked more. If you feel really strongly about a specific angle, leave a comment.

Said this in a previous thread,
But I'd like to put forth a silhouette of Darboh's catch to Mr. Jordan as the new Jumpman for football logo!
September 29th, 2015 at 5:58 PM ^
could be the new Jumpman, too.

to me that was a statement play/tackle of what you're dealing with when facing Michigan anymore, I loved it.
There were many plays to choose from however, a very good thing.
September 29th, 2015 at 5:54 PM ^
I love defensive guys who destroy people...Kam Chancellor....and now we have Peppers. What a freaking beast
September 29th, 2015 at 7:56 PM ^
He throws the dude into the Michigan sidelines and then stands over him as if to say: "what? I didn't hear what you said to me. Care to repeat it?"
Um, no thanks... which way to the tunnel.
September 30th, 2015 at 8:16 AM ^
I love the Peppers play so much because it shows a "we don't fear you and there's nothing you can do about it" attitude that we've lacked for so long. It's just the play I have the most appreciation for of the three most pickable options.
September 29th, 2015 at 6:03 PM ^
captures the ~exact~ moment the BYU trash talk stopped.
September 29th, 2015 at 6:16 PM ^
1997 at Happy Valley, Dadrian Taylor slamming into Penn State's TE, Bob Stephenson, knocking them both out of the game was perhaps the defining moment of the '97 Michigan defense. Sir Charles had the The Catch a couple of weeks earlier, but Dadrian Taylor delivered The Hit which spoke for the entire defense. In some respects that's how I see Pepper's body slam.
September 29th, 2015 at 6:33 PM ^
but it wasn't just the game they were both knocked out of... it was the last down of football either man ever played. While for its time it was a completely legit hit, today it would result in 15 yards and an ejection and for good reason. Great hit, but don't know if it's good to celebrate it.
September 29th, 2015 at 6:57 PM ^
Don't confuse technique with mentality. That hit was hard because Taylor wanted him to pay! I will always celebrate that type of clean and vicious defensive mentality!
September 30th, 2015 at 10:28 AM ^
Yeah man. It was vicious. It was a gnarly hit but that definitely should have been flagged. He left his feet and led with his head, spearing it right into the dude's shoulder. The rules are designed not to just protect the ballcarrier but the tackler as well. I mean, those guys were lucky it wasn't worse.
I like watching that highlight but it makes me cringe now...
September 30th, 2015 at 6:37 AM ^
Wormley had a similar tackle against Utah where he threw the guy to the ground like Pedro Martinez to Don Zimmer (r.i.p.) lol. That and Peppers' midair separation of the ball from the Oregon St. receiver ... I'm loving it that we're becoming bullies again. The absolute worst aspect of the Hoke era by a wide margin was getting manhandled by Michigan State's D and following it up with apologies about stakes. This year it look like Harbaugh, Durkin and the D might have other ideas where we could shove that stake.
September 29th, 2015 at 5:53 PM ^
Peppers is a different kind of nasty. That dude will shut you the hell up really quickly. Thats a baaaaddddd man
September 29th, 2015 at 5:53 PM ^
"Stay low. Keep those feet moving." What a run.
September 29th, 2015 at 5:55 PM ^
Since "The Art, The Art, The Art" hasn't updated since the preseason wallpaper, Darboh's catch has been my phone lock screen since Saturday afternoon.
But man, that run is fun to watch over and over and over. SBNation's teleporter take on it is my favorite.
September 29th, 2015 at 5:56 PM ^
Darboh's catch was outstanding. But Smith's run was possibly the best TD run by a UM running back in a decade. I prefer the teleport gif that's circulating though...
September 30th, 2015 at 11:09 AM ^
Almost looks like Smith spawns out of Kalis. Like a bug in a video game... The 2 become one just before they split....
September 29th, 2015 at 5:56 PM ^
I am starting to love the little bow thing some of the players are doing for their celebration... Short, sweet, but effective. Take a bow, boys.
September 29th, 2015 at 7:51 PM ^
I'm pretty sure it's called "dabbin". I absolutely love it, looks really cool for some reason.
September 29th, 2015 at 5:58 PM ^
OFAAT posts contain more gifs every week!
I am starting to really believe this coaching staff is light-years ahead of their competition. And that's not a slight to any of the staffs we've faced.
This team has clearly bought into the competition on the team. It's so refreshing to see guys rotating in, all wanting to make a big on field impact.
I can't wait for Saturday! Go Blue!
September 29th, 2015 at 5:58 PM ^
All of these are my favorite... and no I won't listen your nonsensical declarations that ALL of them cannot, by definition, be my favorite. They can and they will!
GO BLUE!

September 29th, 2015 at 6:06 PM ^
Picking between the top 3 is the hardest vote I've ever seen in this feature. And I love it.
September 29th, 2015 at 6:06 PM ^
September 29th, 2015 at 6:14 PM ^
Can someone put G...T...F...O....GTFO! in that gif somehow?
That would be perfect...in the meantime, when I need to express my desire for someone to remove themselves from a thread I use...
September 29th, 2015 at 6:16 PM ^
Now Darboh's catch was great and may be good enough to win on many occasions, but Smith's run was just supernatural.
That said, my vote was actually for the Harbaugh Hype because without that man, none of this would be happening.
September 29th, 2015 at 6:31 PM ^
between jabrill's bouncer heave and Smith's big run.
In the end i voted for Smith since I'm so sick of the disrespect he's gotten.

Nice job. Sustain those freaking blocks and good things happen.
September 29th, 2015 at 6:47 PM ^
It has been so long since we could relate this emotion to UM Football. I am not going to vote, it is literally all good!
September 29th, 2015 at 6:53 PM ^
By the end of the season (or hell...maybe in a few weeks) there will be enough clips of Jabrill tossing players into the backfield to make a feature length film out of it.
I would watch that mashup over and over.
September 29th, 2015 at 6:53 PM ^
Peppers executes his job flawlessly (destroy the flat), but did anyone else notice that Ojemudia probably has this as a TFL with an assignment of "rush the passer". INCREDIBLE awareness for a DE to be able to snuff out a WR screen like that. I guarantee he gets a couple helmet stickers for this - hopefully Brian gives him his due in UFR, which is most important.
September 29th, 2015 at 7:00 PM ^
I still can't figure out how Smith made it through that line.
September 29th, 2015 at 7:16 PM ^
and is thinking: "Hey coach, can we go back to Provo yet?"

#2, last gif : Look at the two cheerleaders in the back. They be like :O
September 29th, 2015 at 8:22 PM ^
This is a hard one. But, I gave my vote to Harbaugh the Hype man. I don't remember ever seeing anything like that before. Apparently he has done this before and I missed it. It is incredible what Rudock did the next drive. I wish I can do this at work!!!

Any way to open these GIFs in their own window (or tab), for embedding and the like?
September 29th, 2015 at 8:59 PM ^
I'm no expert, but I have copied GIFs (like JPGs) and then saved them to a photo site (like Photobucket) and then I can embed them. I'm sure there's an easier way to do it though.
September 29th, 2015 at 9:11 PM ^
copy link address, paste that into a new window.
"Save link as..." may also come in handy.
September 30th, 2015 at 6:32 PM ^
just right click, open link in new tab, or open link in new window.
