SB Commit Aidan Falk breaks NY State HR Record
Softball Commit Aidan Falk (Mercy - Rochester, NY) recently broke the New York State career home run record. Looks like Coach Hutch is getting another great one!
Edited to remove 'Recruit' for 'Commit'. Good call.
At this rate, Michigan will win the next 20 B1G Championships, in addition to their 7 straight right now.
Keep churning them out, Coach Hutch!

I thought I was the only McQuaid alum on here, but guess not.
For those not from Rochester, Mercy is the same school the produced Abby Wambach. They're known for having a solid athletic program.
I tried to post this earlier but I am in Hong Kong now and the wifi is sketchy and unreliable.
Falk is the real deal. She is another Romo.
As Fred Jackson would say, "She is faster than a speeding bullet! More powerful than a locomotive! Able to leap tall buildings at a single bound!"
That is some high praise indeed! Hope you're right. Given the number and caliber of players who are graduating this year, we need some instant-impact freshmen as well as natural progression from the rest of the team. Hope Falk can provide that punch!
from her Finesse travel ball coach, Donny Dreher, as quoted on studentsports.com last fall..
“Aidan is also from New York and the people there say she reminds them of Bryce Harper but I call her Roy Hobbs after the lead character in The Natural. She’s a left-handed hitter, a great power hitter and the best first baseman I’ve ever had by far. I first saw her at a Notre Dame camp I was working at. Last year, she joined up for my team at Nationals and had a hard decision choosing between Notre Dame and Michigan but the Wolverines won out."
I think Aidan will be playing first base for Michigan for the next four years but she can also play in the outfield and will probably be a much-needed backup catcher for Lauren next year. She bats and throws left.
If her etam goes far enough, the final rounds of the state tourney are not far from where I live- would be interesting to see this caliber of player in HS ball.
