Here we go.... Hang on boys.
November 15th, 2018 at 2:06 PM ^
Is this supposed to be nerve-racking?
November 15th, 2018 at 2:19 PM ^
It is generally believed that 5-star Defensive End George Karlaftis, currently committed to Purdue, will de-commit and come to Michigan if Brohm leaves. That's why we're all so interested.
November 15th, 2018 at 4:06 PM ^
Front 4 of Harrison, Smith, Karlaftis and Hinton sounds like a winner to me!!
I want some!
November 15th, 2018 at 5:18 PM ^
We won't need linebackers.
November 15th, 2018 at 8:31 PM ^
And Dax roaming behind them. I feel sorry for future opponents.
November 15th, 2018 at 6:19 PM ^
247 composite has him 4-star and 71st . I don't think it matters. Do want. But is there one particular service that has him a 5-star?
November 15th, 2018 at 6:38 PM ^
He was 11th. Probably dropped because he committed to Purdue.
November 15th, 2018 at 7:16 PM ^
Composite is 71st averaging espn, 247 and scout 247 standalone rankings had him 9 until a few days ago now 11 and a 5 star
November 16th, 2018 at 2:29 AM ^
247 is the only recruiting service that still actually does it's job. The composite is useless and just waters down 247 with a bunch of random crap.
November 15th, 2018 at 8:48 PM ^
True!!!!!!!
November 15th, 2018 at 2:20 PM ^
Are you supposed to be so cynical all the time?
November 15th, 2018 at 2:37 PM ^
What’s your deal?
November 15th, 2018 at 2:41 PM ^
6 years, $45M with $25M guaranteed.
November 15th, 2018 at 3:18 PM ^
Oh man, he threw you a pitch right over the plate.
November 15th, 2018 at 3:53 PM ^
A soft ball
November 15th, 2018 at 2:40 PM ^
Should also put Michigan in even better position with George's younger brother, 2021 OLB Yanni Karlaftis, who I believe is also viewed as equally elite.
November 15th, 2018 at 3:38 PM ^
He was amazing at Red Rocks.
November 15th, 2018 at 4:30 PM ^
That was just the drugs and the wavy orange streaks coming your way.
November 15th, 2018 at 8:33 PM ^
All your Greeks are ours.
November 15th, 2018 at 2:47 PM ^
Maybe you should stop posting for a while?
November 15th, 2018 at 4:38 PM ^
Can I ass you a question?
November 15th, 2018 at 1:52 PM ^
Typo'd his name in the title but seems appropriate because it's Dakic.
November 15th, 2018 at 1:55 PM ^
Hello: George Karlafitis?
November 15th, 2018 at 2:13 PM ^
I'm Ron Burgundy?
November 15th, 2018 at 2:13 PM ^
I had a bad case of Karlafitis back in the day. Stay in school, kids!
November 15th, 2018 at 5:25 PM ^
Karla had cooties?
November 15th, 2018 at 1:55 PM ^
Come on down George!!!
November 15th, 2018 at 1:56 PM ^
Hello George?
Come on down!
November 15th, 2018 at 1:56 PM ^
It's happening!
November 15th, 2018 at 1:57 PM ^
I don't understand why Louisville would be more appealing than Purdue.
November 15th, 2018 at 2:00 PM ^
Better facilities, fans, history, easier conference, it's his alma mater? I'm interested in what you think makes Purdue more appealing
November 15th, 2018 at 2:06 PM ^
He was born in Louisville, KY, he went to Trinity HS in Louisville, KY, played football at the University of Louisville, in Louisville, KY. Maybe that's why it is more appealing to him than Purdue.
November 15th, 2018 at 2:36 PM ^
His father and brothers also played at Louisville. He started his coaching career there.
Louisville has a bigger budget and has shown they're winning to spend to win. If nothing else, that will make it easier for him to hire and retain his staff.
It's a better job than Purdue in general. For Brohm in particular, there's just no comparison.
November 15th, 2018 at 3:04 PM ^
Yeah, yeah, okay. But what else.
November 15th, 2018 at 4:05 PM ^
Better, uh, welcoming committee in Louisville?
November 15th, 2018 at 4:30 PM ^
Louisville Recruiting Girls?
November 15th, 2018 at 4:47 PM ^
Purdue has a girl.
November 15th, 2018 at 5:19 PM ^
Does she look like Gene Keady with a wig?
November 15th, 2018 at 11:43 PM ^
Yeah, but would he walk to Louisville to get that job?
November 15th, 2018 at 2:38 PM ^
I'll be very interested to see if Rondale Moore follows Brohm to Louisville
November 15th, 2018 at 2:43 PM ^
Would have to sit out a year, which is rough for an established star.
November 15th, 2018 at 4:32 PM ^
Moore is going to get Shea’s lawyer and expose Purdue cheating and lying and play for us next year.
November 15th, 2018 at 2:08 PM ^
I don’t know guys, I hear Oakland is still in play
November 15th, 2018 at 2:20 PM ^
Oakland Hills?
November 15th, 2018 at 2:25 PM ^
Oh never mind, old reference.
November 15th, 2018 at 2:45 PM ^
Brings back great memories though
November 15th, 2018 at 2:39 PM ^
I believe what you’re looking for is:
Ok cool. Hook em?
November 15th, 2018 at 6:05 PM ^
Sad part is no one here really knows how close that almost happened. I will just leave it right there.
November 15th, 2018 at 2:14 PM ^
All: I was being dead serious.
What makes Purdue more appealing? Well, I think it's a better school. And does Louisville really have better fans and history? Maybe I'm just Louisville-ignorant, but to me they seem on Purdue's level when it comes to that stuff.
I didn't know Brohm went to Louisville. Now, and only now, it makes sense.
