boss doesn't catch you.
February 9th, 2012 at 3:39 PM ^
Did it during lunch, so no worries. And bossman is a buckeyes fan, so not too worried if he finds out.
February 9th, 2012 at 5:09 PM ^
Your boss is the pizza delivery boy?
February 10th, 2012 at 7:07 AM ^
Ditch Digger, no way in hell I would let a Buckeye touch food, no telling were his hands have been.
February 9th, 2012 at 3:14 PM ^
I was't sure that we offered Hatcher. Otherwise I have the exact same list on my computer haha.

wow this staff has a knack for talent evaluation

February 9th, 2012 at 3:09 PM ^
Not only does it help when you are winning National Championships regularly, but also when you state produces as much D1 talent as Alabama does. Football is serious business down there.
February 9th, 2012 at 3:23 PM ^
Seven is the correct number, which is also the same number of commits they have so far. Their whole class is top 250.
February 9th, 2012 at 3:06 PM ^
What are we recruiting Shallman as? We offered him as a running back didn't we? At 6'-3" 255 that seems massive for a running back whose name isn't Brandon Jacobs.
February 9th, 2012 at 3:10 PM ^
Shallman was offered as a running back but he has been told he would do a lot of things other than just running the ball. Not exactly a fullback but a combo if you like. He is a great prospect and hopefully Michigan can get him to commit as he fits Borges' style and is an in state talent.
February 9th, 2012 at 3:16 PM ^
So he is going to be a RB/H-back type of guy in Borges' offense? That is interesting considering we got Khalid Hill couple days ago.
February 9th, 2012 at 3:22 PM ^
OMG we're going to run the flexbone?? *_*
February 9th, 2012 at 3:24 PM ^
Thats what my thought was as well. Maybe Shallman can be a Toby Gehrhart type player and yes I'm making that comparison because they are both white...
February 9th, 2012 at 3:25 PM ^
Interestingly enough, what i have heard is running back specialist and not H-back. You are absolutely right that that will be filled by Hill. I personally believe shallman will be used as a Brandon jacobs type player in NY the last couple of years with a guy like Fitz or Isaac (see what I did there) as the primary back. But what do I know? That is what I see on film.
February 9th, 2012 at 3:39 PM ^
He might be the funniest Canadian right now.
February 9th, 2012 at 4:33 PM ^
No Jon Reschke interesting.. Not disheartening since he's a State lean, but it's nice to see in state guys get some love.
February 9th, 2012 at 4:39 PM ^
Very cool to have the #16 overall player already committed to us (and at QB!).
February 9th, 2012 at 5:42 PM ^
Nice to see LTT, Taco and Jourdan Lewis all in the top 250. These are 3 guys I really want in our class. Can't believe the potential this class has. Also, unreal start for Bama.
February 9th, 2012 at 5:52 PM ^
It's weird to see Alabama and not Texas as the one with a ton of 4 and 5 stars before the rankings come out. I thought I remembered in years past that Texas would have like 20 commits by now but maybe it's because Texas hasn't had their junior day yet or something
February 9th, 2012 at 10:44 PM ^
I believe that Rivals released their list a few months earlier than last year. Maybe this is why you don't see all the early commits they we are used to on the list.
February 9th, 2012 at 6:02 PM ^
#1 Shane Morris, #16 overall, Michigan
#2 Steve Elmer, #49 overall, Notre Dame
#3 Wyatt Shallman, #160 overall, undecided
#4 Jourdan Lewis, #167 overall, undecided
#5 David Dawson, #199 overall, undecided
#6 Riley Norman, #225 overall, undecided
February 9th, 2012 at 6:05 PM ^
So, we'll sign 20 of the top 100, and the another 10 from the 250 will have to walk on I guess? Sounds alright to me.
February 9th, 2012 at 6:51 PM ^
Hoke/staff have offered 52 of Rivals' top 250.
DL - 10; LB - 8; DB - 8; OL - 8; TE - 2; QB - 2; RB - 4; WR - 9; and Ath - 1.
February 9th, 2012 at 7:46 PM ^
We could easily see 2/3 of our class from the Rivals 250.
February 9th, 2012 at 9:09 PM ^
but this happens every year. A lot of kids get offered, a lot of kids show interest, and a lot fall away. Given, we seem to have a lot of kids in the rivals250 very interested, but I'll hold the celebration till we get a few more commits
