I'm all for showing the game, but I find it amazing that we need a 2-hour pregame show.
I hear ya, but I still have it on in the background while I do some work. Fox has to work out kinks for their attempt to capably cover the men's WC in 2018. Gus Johnson!
No single sporting event anywhere has ever needed a two hour pregame show. Hell, you could probably fully cover an upcoming presidential election or major Fed announcement with the time they spend on Super Bowl pregame coverage.
Yeah, the Super Bowl stuff is pretty asinine, too. One year when I was in college they got the great idea to start the pregame show at 11 AM. I wake up, flip on the TV, and the first thing I see is Bradshaw's melon with Howie Long right next to him. I don't recommend that to anyone immediately upon waking.
...just ended and still an hour. So I did what any normal person trying to kill an hour would do...got on MGoBlog.
