That's the most tame Wolverine I've ever seen. We need to get that dude and the animal to Ann Arbor this fall. Let everybody touch a real Wolverine's arse.

If you watch carefully, though, you will see that he is still quite concerned about the beast's more natural tendencies. There is a reason he keeps its attention focused on him the whole time. When he allows people to pet the animal, he purposefully has the wolverine's eyes away from the crowd while also massaging its gums to put it in a 'trance.' 'Tame' is relative. Put this beast in a dog park and you will probably quickly have a bunch of dead dogs. And maybe even dog owners.

Of killed my vision of a viscous, untamable creature with such force that no living thing comes around it. Now...gum massages...weasel family....bottle fed. It's all ruined now!

Very cool, thanks!

Also, standard public service announcement in these threads: if anyone is ever in Watertown, NY, at the Thompson Park Zoo there, they have two wolverines that you can see very close up.

I've seen a longer video of this guy with his wolverines- like a 60 minute documentary.  I want to say it was on Netflix or National Geographic.  Anyway, it shows this guy raising young baby wolverines; I believe this wolverine Banff is one of the siblings.  The part that was a little strange to me at first is the way he talks to them in a weird, high pitched voice.  He said that they just seemed to respond to it better, so he kept doing it.  Anyway, the show was very interesting.

But I'm still addicted to the show "Life Below Zero."   Apparently several inches of metal is no match for even a slightly hungry wolverine. Having one as a pet would be badass though

That's not how I imagined wolverine language sounded.

Also, I assume he has been around that Wolverine since it was a little kit?  Otherwise I'd imagine it would maul his face off.
