I’d bet they let him start the 6th and pull him when there’s a base runner. We need to get as much as possible from the starters because the pitching staff isn’t particularly deep (and Weiss is out for the first three games), and in case of a loss tomorrow you have to play five games this weekend, so you don’t want to overuse the pen.

Well, that more than makes up for the error earlier. The error cost us one, that play saved two.
Huge defense there makes up for the run earlier more so. Probably saved a net one run.
