OT: SB Nation Tails Cops During Iron Bowl
Really interesting article from SB Nation to distract you from the CC bedlam. One of their reporters was allowed to tail Tuscaloosa PD officers during and after the Iron Bowl. Entertaining story. Makes me wonder what the average day for the AAPD is like during the season.

As a cop in charlottesville, I can admit it's like this, but on a smaller scale. However, basketball season it gets pretty crazy.

That's pretty crazy, but it was probably a fascinating opportunity to explore fandom basically at ground level and particularly so as it is two of the most....interesting fanbases in Division I football. I had to chuckle at the end when the one officer just said "Last game", laughing but you get the sense he was looking forward to some quieter times.

I'm not seeing it anywhere else, so yeah... I have a hard time believing the thought behind it anyway.
1. We're in the middle of a slow deliberate search, hiring Schiano would smell more of a desperate quick trigger hire

Thanks for posting. Was just 5 years ago I was in Tuscaloosa for the fall, and yeah, as someone said in a totally different circumstance, "it is as it was".
