OT: Ravens tickets
First - thank you to those who helped me with Madison hotels.
Anyone here know M&T stadium very well? Is the upper deck an awful place to be or actually a decent vantage point to see all the action?
Thinking of buying ravens/bears tickets (12/20) on stubhub, which I ahve never used...am I an idiot or should I wait and see what shows up on Ebay? Just moved to the area and any tips on tickets/seating would be incredible.

note: upper deck, sideline (like goal line) are at about $149 on stubhub right now. Again, stupid to the pull the trigger now?

You will do fine in the upper deck. I think that this stadium might be the closest thing to the college football experience out there. Enjoy it.

M & T is a very nice stadium, but the upper deck, for me at least, is a bit on the high side but certainly acceptable. Don't know how familiar you are with the area, but you are an easy walk to Baltimore's inner harbor area with lots to see and do, particularly if it is a late game. The stadium also has easy access to I-95.

I do believe I can help with this. Before coming to Michigan this year, my family had season tickets to the Ravens games every year. We were seated in section 501 which is located in the upper deck. It is in no way whatsoever a bad place to be, and your view of the field is probably better than that in the lower decks. My seats were toward the front of the upper deck, and I would recommend going for those, however I'm sure it is still fine further up. The stadium is fantastic, and barring an unforeseen blowout by the opposing team, the energy in the stadium should be second to none.
