OT: John Cooper inducted into hometown Hall of Fame
Man, I miss this guy. He was inducted into the Knoxville Hall of Fame yesterday. Here's a link to the story.
This quote's really the only reason I'm posting this:
"It's brought up all the time," Cooper said of his (2-10-1) record against Michigan. "Hey, we never lost to a bad Michigan team."
Can we induct him into the Michigan Hall of Fame?
"It's brought up all the time," Cooper said of his (2-10-1) record against Michigan. "Hey, we never lost to a bad Michigan team."
That's true, but he also never beat a good Michigan team. That was the problem.
Point taken.
That's what Maurice Clarett said.
A lot of those players were on steroids
Underneath the plaque is a quote that reads "Sean Springs fell down!"
Michigan was the ony team he lost against, when he was fired he had the best record of any coach in the Big Ten. He took all the blame for his teams failing against Michigan but was it truly all his fault?
/S, you're one of my favorite posters on here
...JB, much appreciated. Right back at you.
