OT: Authentic Michigan Roster for NCAA 11 - PS3
Due to me being completely OCD and a huge attention-to-detail freak, last night I updated the Michigan roster stemming from the 'gamingtailgate' roster file on EA Locker for PS3.
I changed all of the equipment to be in-line with each player (helmet style, face mask, visors, sleeves, ankle braces, knee braces, etc.) and also adjusted some minor roster changes. I moved Roh back to OLB and moved Banks to DE. I also edited Dorsey to Cam Gordon and moved him to S. I upped Shaw's speed as well as Denard's and also improved Big Will's overall skill to surpass Segasse.
If anyone wants to download this roster file from me (it will have all teams, also) my user name is Maizeandbrew18 for PS3. I should have this up and finalized tonight.
Any other changes anyone wants to see?
EDIT: Forgot to add that I took out James Rogers and included Jeremy Gallon in his place.
did you reduce gordon's speed? no offense to him but i'm gonna go out on a limb and say he isn't as fast as dorsey....
Yeah -- I adjusted everything to be more in line with a safety. I gave him in the 90's for hit power but lowered his awareness -- I have his speed around a 91-92, IIRC.
If only this was for 360 instead of ps3....

I uploaded it last night but I have to re-edit it (it was a late night). The only issue I have to resolve is putting Big Will's ranking down a little bit. I have him at a 92 overall, when in reality I wanted him to be in the mid 80's. Right now he is ranked above Martin, which isn't right. So yeah, if you are OK with Big Will being overrated, feel free to upload from me at Maizeandbrew18. Otherwise, I plan on adjusting again this weekend if I have some time. For sure by Monday I'll have a better version. I also need to adjust Molk's facemask and take off his knee braces. I jumped the gun on those two details.
I downloaded your roster this morning - excellent work. I already adjusted Big Will down a bit as well. Also - shouldn't Cam Gordon be a redshirt freshman instead of a true freshman? Those two are super-easy fixes I made so I'm not trying to criticize - just pointing out a potential discrepancy. Thanks again for all the Michigan customization.
Not related to any of your edits, but where is LaLota in this game? I understand some of the true freshman being left off, but LaLota was a fairly decent recruit last year. And on NCAA 10 he developed into an absolute beast for me. So that definitely means he'll be good in real life, too.
Good call! Sorry about Gordon. When editing, when I get to the corners/safeties, I sometimes get off my focus and make some errors. I'll make the change this weekend and save over it.
Didn't even think about Lalota. I'll make him this weekend -- I'll edit over a lower level player.
No problem. I understand it gets pretty tedious to make all those changes - I'm just grateful you did it.
I think I'm going to make Van Slyke into LaLota. I'm still trying to figure out who is going to become Jibreel Black though. Probably Wilkins, since I'm more excited for Black than him. I might actually edit over Conelius Jones and turn him into Terrence Talbott to get some more D-Line depth. I'm pretty sure I'd be cutting Jones to free up roster space in the next season or two anyway so it shouldn't be a big loss.
Thanks. I'll take this all into consideration. Also -- not sure why Teric Jones is listed as a safety. I have to move him back to corner. Unless I missed something in the offseason, he is a corner.
