The Lions always do the worst thing for the franchise at any given moment, so they will win today. That said, it's nice to see them playing decently, even though a lot of it is the opponent.

It has to be considered an art at this point... I mean, to be so good at ensuring you stay bad, but not so bad that you are in position to draft a franchise changing player. 3 to 5 wins; that's our sweet spot.

Yup. Just a good enough record to get a shitty draft position, and just bad enough to miss the playoffs. 9-7, 8-8, 7-9, are the worst records you can have in the NFL. I know 9-7 has gotten in the playoffs on occasion but it’s not the norm.

Unfortunately true. I think the offense is ok but the defense gets shredded by decent teams and they still make so many mental errors in game. I don't see that getting fixed by this staff.

They had an attitude against a team without its top players. A reasonably healthy Julio Jones and Gurley and with Lions' injuries along both lines, I'll take the Falcons. Without Kenny Golladay the Lions are a below 500 team. Hopefully, Okudah will be better. Adrian Peterson was a great pick up.
