I really want 2015 and beyond to be here already. M should be so much better then.

What you're saying is "Just give it two more years."

Unfortunately yes. We're not as lucky as the buckeyes in that we lose a great coach, get sanctions, but still turn around and get one of the best coaches in the country who hasn't lost a game yet. Based on what RR recruited and where Hoke & Co. want to go, it takes a while. Do I want to win now? Absolutely, but before we can be a national title contender, these recruits need to mature. Offensive line and quarterbacks are the most important positions in football. Thankfully these coaches have recruited excellent prospects, so we just have to hope they pan out.

that peppers gets some significant snaps on offense as a freshman. the current roster does not have many playmakers, especially in the backfield. he would be a nice contrast to the green and smith

peppers should wear number 2 the day he steps on the field.

I have a sneaky suspicion Stribling will get to wear #2 before his time here is done.

UM has plenty of young offensive talent.

there is a one year gap before harris gets on campus. i don't really see any rbs at michigan in the fold right now or in the class of 14 that are lightning type guys, mostly a bunch of thunders. i like thunders, but sometimes, you need some lighting. like when you are trying to run power against 8 in the box...
i guess Hayes got some time at the end of the game and caught a pass out of the backfield, so maybe he can be that, but he is no peppers.

My guess is that he was referring to Drake Harris and not Damien Harris.
October 15th, 2013 at 12:46 PM ^
i was talking about having playmakers in the backfield rather than just on offense.
October 15th, 2013 at 12:27 PM ^
I was taking about Drake Harris, not Damien. The passing game next year should be explosive.

The "run around and panic" bit was about Hand wearing Bama gear, ie he's leaning toward committing to Bama.
Not about a possible Peppers decommit

because we have a kicker who has the tie for longest streak of consecutive FGs made on the team right now. A rough game doesnt mean we should start pretending he's a bad kicker
