It's a new day! Football game day!

Submitted by Helloheisman on
I am hoping to spread some positive vibes after the performances last night from the Hockey and Basketball squads. We only get 12-15 of these a year. The rest of the year is spent breaking down plays and stats to get back where we are right now. How are you spending game day? Are you in happy valley, PA? I'm happy to be at home with family hoping to see a nice win and set up everything in A2 next week.

Best one of these we've had in a while too, and it will quickly be topped next week if both Michigan and OSU win today.

Can't wait for the game today. Been awhile since the team had a legit path to the big ten title. Gonna be watching at home although I am a little disappointed because the usual crew we watch with is a bit scattered this weekend with other commitments. Still lots of bells white winter ale and shorts space rocks to drink a bunch of top shelf weed and some beef stew going in the slow cooker. Will be a good day no matter what but a great day is possible with a win and a state loss.

I sure as hell hope we dont fall behind at any point in the game or the board might melt down.  Based on the in and post game comments on basketball we dont seem to have a very nuanced sense of perspective right now.

WTF people.  WTF.

Today is a huge day. Let's not act like it isn't. We are the only good game on at noon. There will be a huge viewing audience. It is time to go be great!

Let's bring home a W!

I am so excited. Going to watch the game with the family. Also, I had to laugh when Corso peeved off the OSU fans in the first five minutes by saying "Go big blue". Let's gooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm excited and nauseated. Excited that today, one of the two teams I hate most WILL lose. Nauseated by the fact that I have a vested interest in the most evil one winning. College football fandom is hard.

Working on a couple things around the house before the game, will help with the anxiousness of the game. The Mrs is being kind by cooking her delicious chilli and then take off to go shopping as I have my dad and brother-in-law over for the game. I got myself some Mad Hatter, Molson, and Fat Tire on deck for this game. It's going to be a dandy ladies and gents. Go Blue!!

I am not in Happy Valley. Instead I am in Shanghai, having visited the SJTU-UM Joint Institute, and the six Michigan students studying there this Fall. I am having a nightcap (we are thirteen hours ahead of EST) and will be flying back to DTW via Narita at about the time most of you are thinking about bed. Go Blue!
