Who is Tom Crean and what is an Indiana?

This is what happens when there is an odd-shaped blank spot between territories in a westward-expanding nation and nobody can think of a good name for it.

So....should we start respecting Crean a little more? *herd mentality*

Seems like if you have no idea about what's going on with his apology, it's kind of bad form to throw two exclamation points in the title of the thread.

for Indiana coaches to follow basketball recruiting rules these days?

Ohio self-reported a lot of minor violations to pretend they had institutional control. I wonder if this is a bit of Buckeye-style misdirection.

What is the point of a secondary violation? I remember hearing about osu having lots of secondary violations in football last year.
They should make it like how soccer deals with yellow card accumulation. They should decide that a certain amount of secondary violations is equal to loss of one scholarship or loss of practice hours.
Nothing is stopping guys like Tom Crean or osu from committing secondary violations when it helps them land recruits.

Tom Crean is a pretty highly respected coach, he's not a Jim Tressel type, at least by reputation. This very well might be his first secondary violation ever.

Tressell was also a highly respected coach to the public.

If you watched ESPN at any point last night, this scrolled the bottom line for about 6 hours...
