FOX on Roku again

Enjoyed the read below.  But given update from Roku overnight that negotiations succeeded, I felt it only fair to alert everyone to the renewed Superbowl option of streaming via Roku.

Hopefully not to many $$$ were spent on new alternatives in the last 24 hours...

This is great.

Not the question is whether the app will actually be able to handle all the traffic and bandwidth in 4k. I have a new 4K/HDR TV, thanks to my old one dying (and Amex paying for a replacement) and I don't want to begin watching the game in 4K if it's going to buffer and/or stutter during it.

That's a really good point, othernel.  While Fox is using the same system that did the World Series, Women's World Cup and Thurs Night Football, the Super Bowl is in a league of its own for broadcasts. I wonder if they will have any upscale issues tomorrow.  I plan to watch the feed over my antenna - which picks up Fox excellently in traditional HD - and I don't have the latest / greatest 4K TV, so I'll be interested to learn how it goes for "The Streamers" trying to obtain the full 4K experience.
