Dear Bubble

First of all, let me say that it's not you, it's me.  See when we first started going out, nobody even thought we belonged together.  And I give you a lot of credit for taking me on, even though I was near the bottom of the conference at the time.  You saw something in me that others didn't, and I'll never forget that.

And then there were all those times I spent with you over the past few weeks, checking on Colorado scores, Nebraska scores, Memphis scores,  etc.  Keeping track of Clemson and not even being sure what I wanted to see them do.  Rooting for teams I didn't even like, because you had me doing it.  Good times!

But now it's just time for me to move on.  Say what you will about me, but it's just not going to work anymore.  What used to be a thrilling diversion from work now just seems like, well, somebody else's business.

Plus, I have to say, I've seen you eyeing some other programs recently.  And I could be jealous, but I'm not.  Frankly,  if Boston College wants you, fine;  yours.  Ditto Alabama.  Heck, I don't even mind you taking a look at Penn State!  (But give me a call if it starts to look serious.  There are a few things I need to tell you.)

And then there's this.  I always wanted to go dancing, but you were never sure.  Well guess what?  I'm going dancing now!

Without regret,

Michigan

P.S.  Got a "friend" named Sparty who might be interested.  But be very careful: baggage city, if you know what I mean.  You might be best dispensing with that clown sooner rather than later.
