My wife did her residency there. She didn't hate it, but it'll never be a destination we do anything but drive through in the future.

No idea about the campus, just Gainesville. Her residency was at the VA hospital, not the University. She didn't live on campus. I was at um at the time and wasn't married to her yet so I didn't live there.

Brother went to UF...good school, great campus, and very nice people in Gainsville.
Best campus I've ever been to is Pepperdine BY FAR! Right on PCH 1, LOVE IT!!!

Hottest place I been in the continental US. 4th of July 2006. 99 degrees with 115 heat index. There wasn’t a soul outside in downtown Gainesville.

GameDay just previewed the Sparty v Buckeyes game. The graphic had Michigan States helmet but they were listed as Michigan!! LOL! The disrespekt is so much win!!! If someone could screen shot it that would be great. Didn’t think this was separate thread worthy. Anybody else see it?

I love nearly everything about College Gameday. The COMIN TO YOUR CITAAYY song is so hokey yet I'm sad when I miss it. Yet Michigan being bad takes a lot of the fun out of it. Herbstreit is generally level-headed and fine, and Desmond is Desmond, but everyone else seems to love to take shots at Michigan whenever they can. I try to keep that kind of negativity out of my life, (I get enough of it around here) so my desire to watch Gameday, and college football in general, drops.

I don't see what he adds to that show, other than maybe some SEC fans whined about Herbie and Desmond being Big Ten so they felt they needed to add an SEC slappy to the show.

Yeah, the second I turned it on, he was spewing the company line about, "Harbaugh's in big trouble if they lose today." He might decide to leave someday, but suggesting Harbaugh's on thin ice after he turned Michigan back into a top 15 program is idiocy.

Herbie says our offensive line is too slow. Not sure about the rest of them, but I remember Owenu running after an opponent that had scooped up a fumble last year, & I thought that he may have been the slowest Division 1 football player I have ever seen.
