Can We Get an Ashley's Update?

What an exceptionally gracious offer by our DDS friend of an open bar at Ashley's earlier today.  For those of us unable to attend, it would be fun to get an update, a photo or two, lampshades on bloggers' heads, etc.   Hope you are all enjoying yourselves, and happy Harbaugh day.

I would agree. I couldn't make because I had to work today and therefore at least feign sobriety - as hard as this might have been for me (in the constant state of celebration, it has been hard). That, and my wife worked so it was just me and the kids, so free pints and a 20 minute drive were sadly out of the question. If anyone has some updates, do post them here in the spirit of MGofellowship.

He showed up dressed as advertised with a Wolverine and set up the craft beer shop in Underground Ashley's. I'd post a photo but not sure I know how off my cell. Go Blue. Awesome weekend. Harbaugh was in every recruits home today and never left Ann Arbor.

Doc, I almost came in for the evening--but just didn't have enough notice between official notification and Ashley's.  

But I do have a daughter who is an MGoFreshman.  So if there is another opportunity, I will happily buy you a beer there.  Or if you find yourself in Boulder...

He came. He wore khakis, and a funny jacket, and a funny hat, and a fez under his hat, and reported that everybody wears a fez under their hats. We are investigating this now.

We had a staff meeting upstairs after the hoops game and didn't get to hang downstairs as much as we like (most of us have newish offspring) but we ran into a lot of fans who reported their wives/girlfriends are very much not fans of the site.

Also Vincent Smith came by for a bit.

We met at Michigan  and he's a big fan, too, but he thinks my Mgoblog obsession is weird.  He calls everyone on here "my friends".  (My real friends are Spartans, so guess who I like more)

This part is funny, though...We had lunch at Ashley's and he goes "isn't there some free beer today?"  If he followed more closely, he would have known the exact time the party went down!

I think I avoided this thread because I was 3000 miles away and jealous about the Ashley's night... My whole family thinks I'm nuts too...but, I will say, my daughter who is least involved in Michigan, kept asking, "Is he coming??!!??" And then bragged to her Buckeye friend that "we got him!!! so look out sistah!" So, something must be sinking in.
