If you can't see the difference between using slurs and using a group of people who were systematically killed and displaced by this country as a kind of jokey mascot vs a culture of raiders that mostly just impacted northern Europe, I can't help you
Most people want KC to change a bunch of stuff surrounding their name too, it's just that the pressure hasn't built enough to the point that the NFL has to do anything (since it's not a literal slur)
When non-athletes transfer here (i.e. without pressure to get them in) most come with either a year or two elsewhere. The admissions issue is solely bc UM is extraordinarily specific with the higher level class equivalents. Pre-reqs they are fine with, but the higher level electives are overly specific. Most Freshmen and Sphomores shouldn't have issues here
What's your issue with Suamataia at 29? He's not my preferred choice there, but a highly athletic OT who can be a guard for a year or so and then bump out to RT when we inevitably can't afford Decker anymore makes a ton of sense to me
I really don't think TEN needs a QB. They have so many holes in that roster and Levis looked pretty good for them last year. If they're smart they'll sure up that OL before even thinking about getting a new QB
It actually does. That's the problem with the way the current diagnostic evaluations work. In general it's done by people who are not autistic trying to describe internal processes by the way they present externally. The people doing the diagnosing (unless they are autistic themselves), are not able to understand the various different ways autistic people can mask and accommodate their autism bc they've never had to do that. We actually have a huge problem with large swaths of people being undiagnosed or misdiagnosed still (especially if they are not cis white straight men)
Are you autistic? If not, you don't get to decide what is or isn't "too broad". The autistic experience is a very unique thing and I can guarantee that Harbaugh is autistic
Diagnosing someone over the internet is wildly different than the decades of interviews, press conferences, anecdotes, etc about him. He fits the DSM5 criteria to a T
I understand why everyone says "weirdo", but for fucks' sake can we please use the correct term and say that Harbaugh is Autistic? It's unbelievably obvious and as an autistic person myself I just despise the way that his clearly autistic traits are being given negative labels
Not trying to be rude, but this isn't a great post: Misspelling Orji and Hausmann, forgetting Kechaun Bennett exists (and putting a true freshman project over him and the more college ready Nichols), having players in wrong positions (Etta is a strong end last we heard), etc. Appreciate the effort, just think some more proofreading is needed going forward
24/7 explicitly ranks people with their NFL upside in mind. Jadyn can be an excellent college QB, but he probably won't be a 1st rounder. I think that's where the disconnect is
If you read their scouting reports, it's all about comps to NFL players and draft position. They've been pretty clear that 5* = likely 1st round pick and so on from there lately. Not sure if this is something they've talked about long, but they've been pretty clear about it lately
The Ivy guy (Chris Ledlam) also had by far the highest usage and almost double the amount of 3s attempted than the next guy on the list. Let's at least look at context before we whine about percentages with no context
You'd have to ask him to know, but visually it seems like a lot of these missed passes from Dug aren't bc he doesn't see the open man, but bc he is concerned he doesn't have an angle due to his size and it may be deflected or intercepted. It feels like that's a concern for him with defenses hedging/blitzing his ballscreens. Perhaps with experience he'll be able to find those smaller windows and make the passes anyways
Bufkin looked so much improved defensively. He mostly made those shots incredibly tough for Bates. I'm far less worried about his as a defender since he shouldn't normally be drawing 6'9" 2 guards with flamethrowers for arms. Things definitely need to be ironed out, but for only having like 3 (4 if you count Jace) contributors returning, the team looks extremely promising
That's not even remotely what that tweet says. It says that those who are in the KKK are also usually people in power positions, as racism is built into the core of this country.
Now I think his page gives off some serious Hotep energy, but it's not my place to call that out as a non-black person
*sigh* it is absolutely not a fake disability. Just bc you didn't take any biomedical classes past HS doesn't mean that things you don't know about don't exist
Is he gone gone? Cuz the way his tweet is worded sounds like he wouldn't be against coming back into the fold provided some things change. Am I just being too hopeful?
People who say this really don't follow the NFL much at all. New GM, coach, basically entire front-office, and "new" owner (Sheila Hamp took over from her mother before the 2020 season). The only hold-over is Rod Wood from the end of the Caldwell years. If you actually follow the team, they seem to be actually functional in not downright good (maybe a touch early to say they're good), which is a massive change from the Quinntricia years
I don't understand why we are hedging so much with Hunter. Moussa, sure, but Hunter doesn't have the agility. He's pretty much a drop coverage guy only
Yikes. I feel bad for your co-workers. Those are textbook inappropriate messages. Especially considering the power dynamics of the president of the university
Dude what? The lions finally have a legitimately good-looking coach and front office now and you say this? Yeah, Patricia and Quinn were an abomination, but Holmes and Campbell seem to have their shit together. Definitely not that bad. I can name multiple teams off the top of my head that are objectively worse
IDK how realistic it is, but the good Nwestern safety, Brandon Joeseph is transferring, wouldn't be necessarily upset if we pursued him if Dax declares
Have you seen anything in particular to show why Zeb is out of the rotation? Based on what my untrained eyes have seen, his aggressiveness and athleticism is sorely needed on the wing, and theoretically he could allow Houstan to play some 4 where he may be a better matchup
They have arguably the best center in the league, a Top 10 LT, a rising RT/LT in Sewell, and a solid yet uninspiring guard combo. They really just need some more depth and they'll be probably the best line in the league
The first sack that Alex credited as a mistake from Skoronski seems 100% on Hilinski. His drop is at 10 yards with acres to step up and instead spins into the strip sack. He definitely looks spooked back there
Watching the MMQB from this morning, Devin Gardner makes a good point on #6 in that Cade probably waited too long to throw that. Sure, he was waiting for CJ to clear the LB (that's their Bush clone Ulofoshio), but as CJ makes his cut, there's a really solid window as the LB he is looking to clear still has his hips turned away from CJ (start at 2:36 on the video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LLKZE0YTf9s&ab_channel=MGoVault). I don't think Schoonmaker is as open as you think he is. They're in Cov 3 and both the safety and boundary corner are gonna break hard on a pass to Schoonmaker. Great route and design, just need Cade to recognize that a little earlier. DG made a great point talking to Sam that Cade may have had some jitters considering that UW has a very good secondary and it was an extremely raucous environment

Oh fun, misogyny. Be more creative instead of "Woman=bad"

Mutilating animals is a crime, i have no idea why eating meat has anything to do with that

Judging by the fact that he's transferred literally every year since freshman in HS, it's definitely the latter. The adults around him have failed him
What is it like to be so pessimistic? Do you ever have fun in life?

Next time if you're unsure, this and the FAQ page has lists about who is and who isn't credible essentially

You do realize this still happens, right? Brad Hawkins was supposed to play in 2022

Honingford too

For the future, I'm pretty sure everything that the Athletic puts out is paywalled

Poole left after his sophomore season? Please at least know what you're drunkenly ranting about before you start doing it
Not sure how many here know about Relative Athletic Score, but here are the links for the UM players at the combine:

Looking at the QBs taken so far (apparently round 1 is just QBs), I'm not so sure this was as bad as I initially thought:

Could be stress from academics here? Not sure what his major was, but zoom classes were definitely harder for different majors
Yay double post

What? He would be an awful president. He definitely doesn't have any experience coordinating an entire university

At least spell Faulds right bud

Let's be real, Will Anderson and Kayvon Thibodeaux are both better than Karlaftis and Ojabo. Let's not be too much of homers lol
The hit rate for late 1st QBs is abysmal. Honestly If nobody wows you into a #1 overall, skip a QB and get a dev guy in 4th/5th

That's because in modern football you essentially run out a base nickel. The concepts our front 7 (or 6 in nickel) run are 3-4 in design

This draft has Carson…
This draft has Carson Strong going No 1. Not sure I'd give this any real consideration
