This is insightful. Makes me feel even better about Saturday night. Unlike this post that I started which turned out ton be depressing. The bowls have certainly lost their luster and will continue to do so. I haven't watched a minute but that's just the way it goes these days with kids, job, volunteering etc. I'll still root for Big 10 teams other than OSU and MSU.
Which podcast? I've been ignoring this whole mess and waiting for it to be over. However it does not look like it will be over any time soon. It is just so sad watching an empire fall by it's own hand.
You just summed it up for me. I thought it was because I was getting older or losing interest but the Harbaugh teams are just really fucking frustrating to watch. I don't enjoy them like I used to. I can't put my finger on it but it just has to be the offensive playcalls. I just don't enjoy watching them bang their heads into a wall over and over and over and over. AND OVER.
When army gets the ball back it reminds me of watching silent film from WW1 when the Germans first encountered the British Mark 1 tank. Slow, impending doom, terror and hopelessness.
After nearly two decades of heartache and disappointment I'm home right here on this post. The rest is all Polly Anna wish list rainbow unicorn bullshit of inflated expectations.
Family, lacrosse, and decent skiing close to work and home.
Cons:
Economic wasteland, brutally high taxes, crabby populace, brain drain replaced with Cadillac welfare seekers, criminal politicians, stupid gun laws, high regulation, toll roads, mass depression, Mario Cuomo, it's cloudy all the time, our only growing industry other than charitable non-profits are landfills for NYC, terrible high school football, declining population, people think i'm a New Yorker when I travel despite living closer to Detroit than NYC.
It also seems like when the players get any adversity they fall into submissive acceptance. Almost like a mindset of "Here we go again." "Oh no it's happening!" They seem just like the buffalo bills in their last 2 super bowls.
That's great news. I love that they are nervous. I went to Sears and Kmart but couldn't find any Michigan jerseys. The clerks told me they were sold out. Sounds like the tide might be turning.
Mgrowold, this man has your answer. The only problem would be if you left it out perpendicular to the wall and walked into it one night when sleep walking. You could tell people Steve Yzerman broke your nose, which would be a good story.
Well written. I can certainly relate to many of your emotions. I am still a passionate fan I just don't buy into any hype or analysis until I see it on the field during real games.
Very interesting. It seems to me that he very often throws the ball directly to receivers. Maybe we ought to let this young chap try it again sometime soon.

it's been a long hard road out of hell but it has been worth it! Go Blue!
I remember that hype video vividly. Those were some dark times for sure.
Looks like I have a team to pull for this season in the SEC. I am happy for him and hope it works out.
Nice avatar. Mine has been in place since the RR years when things were a bit dicey around here.
Most amazing comment!

That's as ethical as any ill will towards an individual I have ever come across.
Nor would we want anyone with a rap sheet like his get an FFL. FFL's are for good guys. This is a bad man we are talking about.
No weight change is also very good. They simply burned flabby fat and replaced it with strong muscle.

Yup, all my OSU buddies feel bad for me and have for years now. Ridiculous.
Good. Now I don't need to pretend I'm not home and feel guilty about not handing out candy to the neighbors.
Cleary they were in an intimate relationship.
OP, this post should clearly be META.
/Sighs and sadly closes out smoldering message board that used to about football and not politics
98.12668% of the 84% people that voted "No" would vote the same if asked should college football ever be played again.
Mike Hart is very pleased with this chant.
I agree. I hope he stays for a very long time and the program stays in the basement
Who is this Dantonio guy you are referring to?
Hopefully LSU can endure this surge bama put together.
That is one scenario however I believe it is simply contextual or content targeting with unfortunate(funny) ad copy. Sports blog = sports apparel ads.

It would be so cool to see our o-line get some push some day. Aren't the army lineman like 260 pounds!!?

OK, lets punch it in now

McDoom had a huge easy catch drop last night against Wisconsin. Now I know why we always ran him on sweeps.
Search on Amazon Prime "The Return". It's great documentary about Ford's return to Le Man a couple of years ago.
Oh yeah and all my friends that contribute to society moved out of state.

I live in Rochester, NY
Pros:
Family, lacrosse, and decent skiing close to work and home.

Go get that cheddar young man. Thank you for being a Wolverine.

The descriptions are really funny. I like the Touting SAT scored the best.
See below, apparently I should have scrolled further and replied to your post.

Way to be a douchebag.

This new format is boring. Yesterday's version was spot on.

That was awesome. It was great to see him play again. He could just throw defensive tackles around.
