That was both unbelievable because of the shocking dereliction of the ethical responsibility to, at a bare minimum, check that the citations are to real cases and verify that they say what you're representing to the court that they say—and yet very believable given the unfamiliarity that some old-school lawyers have with computer technology. He seems to have assumed it was some fancy AI version of Westlaw and not just a predictive-language model.
Went back to school at 34. Appreciated the opportunity a lot more than I did as a 17–21-year-old undergrad. Learned a lot and met some great people. Love the new profession. Rarely take a day off, so no "Sunday doldrums."
I'm also curious about that one. You never hear anyone say that someone moved "out east," do you? When I lived in NV, it sounded so strange to hear people talk about someone going "back east" to somewhere in the midwest like Michigan. I assume that those concepts calcified in some pockets of speech back when more cities were established on the east coast and the country was busy spreading westward.
Can anyone here remember an MSU team that wasn't full of cowardly human garbage? Remember when this reprobate tried to break Denard's neck during a game?
Bars: Irish Lion (bar with a good selection of beers, some good duck, mussels, oysters, steaks, and other food) & Upstairs (popular bar near campus; haven't tried the food)
Restaurants: Uptown Cafe (American), Samira (Afghan), Taste of India (Indian), Le Petit Cafe (French)
"They already had their chance" applied only in '06 when it applied to two B1G teams. But where is that logic now that it would apply to two SEC teams?
I agree that populations should be able to defend themselves against tyranny & invasions, but with the advanced weaponry that our military has, it seems nearly useless to imagine standing up to a coup (or whatever such enactment of tyranny we could imagine, against which the population could pose an armed defense) with the firearms that civilians can acquire.
Can you give me a better view of your perspective that might counter my understanding?
(As with all internet posts on controversial topics, it should be noted that I am legitimately interested in learning more about different viewpoints and not just making an "I am very smart" response. I think we have more of a chance of achieving the former here than some other places.)
From our experience with other books in the series, which is with bright, enthusiastic Korean elementary-schoolers, I wouldn't expect it to be too tough - as long as the level is appropriate for the kids.
Did he ask that nothing be recorded? From what WD wrote in the OP, he seemed to be asking that the whole thing not be posted online. Either way, if WD feels that abstaining from posting any of it (or taking down what short clip he did already post) would conform more to his wishes, then I think we can all respect that.
How much faster is South Korean Internet? I've heard this claim many times, but it doesn't seem much different to me than that in the US. Am I doing something wrong?

Right. That's just the threshold jurisdictional amount to get into Circuit Court. You have to plead that if you're seeking $50,001 or $50,000,000.

Did the Mustangs have your signals in the Texas state championship game?
Should have gone for two.
While I know some wonderful people who graduated from MSU, against what other team (and fanbase) do you get this kind of thing?
While I hope you're right, my experiences and observations on gamedays against MSU make me worry whenever we play them.
So many dropped uncontested catches!

Although it's not my thing, either, American culture has a long history of fascination with super-weapons and superheroes.

He was an amazing DT and a favorite among my group of friends. Did others not enjoy watching him blow up opposing backfields?
That's awesome! Thanks for sharing, and thank her for making the world a better place!

Thank you!
Awesome! Does the MVP improve your star power going forward? I didn't see any info on its effects on the site.

The site has added the vote information. Someone named Tom Murphy from the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette put TCU ahead of us. He's not even a TCU alum.

Love to see that our guys have been joining NHL rosters across the country!

Ravens apparently have this in their locker room.

We have a language school for kids.

I hope it goes well for you and your kids!

I don't think I've ever met anyone outside the Southeast who even knew what it was.
