Whiskey/Bourbon newbie here - prefer the smooth ones (Buffalo Trace/Eagle Rare) to the harsher ones with a bit more bite. Is the flavor profile here more in the smooth or the "bite" category?
You're not kidding. I applied in the early fall of 97 and there is NO WAY I would've gotten in now. These were the days of rolling admissions so the longer you waited the harder it got. Thankfully, my Mom pushed me to apply ASAP and I ended up getting in. Friend of mine with better test scores, GPA, extras, etc. waited to apply in January and was waitlisted and never made it. Early bird gets the worm, as they say - thanks, Mom.
I'm 2 months in on a 24 Grand 4xe. Enjoy it very much. First hybrid. Only wish the EV range was longer (26 miles) but covers most of my daily drive so not complaining.

So, completely unsolicited advice here and somewhat ironic posting this in a Toby Keith thread as I'm assuming? he was a big BBQ guy? ... but I would strongly consider going vegan if you haven't already. Heavy on the dark greens, legumes, green tea. While most of the literature out there is related to prevention, also beneficial whilst fighting it off.
