Will We Get the Kids of Both Huggy Bears?

Submitted by BursleyHall82 on

Until we lost him to USC, we had Justin Fargas, son of the original Huggy Bear, Antonio Fargas.

Now we get word that Michigan in line for a visit from Cordell Broadus, son of the movie Huggy Bear, Snoop Dogg. (Look at the end of this article.)

I have no idea how good Cordell Broadus is, but it would be cool to have Snoop sitting in the parent section.

Even if this has been talked about before multiple times, and even if you're right or have a high probability of being right, this is a time for celebration and high hopes. Let the kid dream...let him dream. [fade to black]

I don't know anything about the kid.  Maybe he wants to get out of his father's shadow and decides to get away from Vegas/SoCal.  He's also taken a visit to ND so hopefully academics are important to him.

On the sidelines? Im pretty sure he murdered someone (allegedly). We had people on here chastising sparty for having a rapper in their locker room who used vulgar words and demeaned women in his lyrics. Murder seems worse.

I'm not here to pass judgement on smoking weed (pro legalization), but the fact is UM lost a year of McGary due to 1 weed infraction. And, I'm not trying to infer what kind of kid Cordell is. After all, Rohan Marley had a great career at Miami. But, do you really think it's practical to invest a scholarship in someone with whom you'd constantly have to worry about off the field issues? Chances are Cordell is a great person and will have a good college career. But, if you're Snoop, you have to realize that some of the choices you made in life, and some of the things associated with you will impact your kids, unfairly or fairly. It's just a situation that I would want to avoid, especially trying to start a new era at UM.
