I guess it is because Vlad was wearing a Maize (yellow) and Blue shirt...I guess.
On another note, did anyone notice how small Jamaal Berry is? I thought he was like 5'11", but in that pic he looks about 7 inches shorter than D. Carter who is 6'3" IIRC.

Vlad went to Plantation HS, the school I graduated from back in 04, so we have mutual friends. I found that picture and felt we'd all enjoy the subtle "F U" he's sending out.

I know he initially planned on taking a trip to Columbus the weekend of the rivalry game with Michigan, but then I thought he cancelled that visit. Not that it matters much, just curious because it would add more context to the message the picture gives. Was it an official visit?

the colors of his shirt should be purely coincidence. Back then he highly favoured OSU I believe, and in the following months we moved in and out of his top-5 a couple times I remember. Him making a FU type of statement could only come after the summer, around the last two months of the season when we got back in the mix for him, and he was pissed off at OSU.
However, if he already knew back in April that he was going to be a Wolverine, he sure feels the rivalry and definitely has the balls to hit the buckeyes hard any chance he gets ;).
