There are...
...days until Mike Evans (DL 1988-1991) sees the 2019 Michigan Wolverines have a clean slate to SHOCK THE WORLD at NIGHT against Middle Tennessee State at Michigan Stadium, building an intimidating identity for the rest of this important season.

If you prefer single digits, there are....
...MONTHS until Wilton Speight (QB 2015-2017) sees his former team have a new chance to electrify fans like he once did when he was RoboSpeight against Maryland in 2016 (seen above).

Getting closer and closer...
Go Blue!
1991 was a fun season (Evans' senior year), with an exciting home opener (notably filled with one particular exciting moment by a certain Heisman Trophy winner).
Brent Musburger, unfortunately, has the call here:
Thanks WH and enjoy as always!
that isn't the dearly departed keith jackson on that call. its brent fuss-budget, not in the same galaxy as the often-dying keith jackson.
The real grass looks so good. Sigh.
Shame it didn't hold up.
It does not.
Lou sure looks sour at 8:56 of the second video.
Great memories. Our extended family was from the Goshen (Indiana) area. Rick Mirer, the ND QB, was from Goshen and we had a great time following the Mirer led Goshen team-to a state championship. We had just moved back to Goshen from the AA area when this games was played. Having been converted to full-fledged Michigan fans, this was the perfect game for us-Rick Mirer be damned...because, if I remember correctly, Michigan was his second choice.
Wow, Desomnd looks like he was such a fun player to watch, it's too bad I wasn't born yet when he played Haha. But man, Lou throwing it 3 times in a row when they had what I think I heard as Jerome Bettis at running back for the last drive? Crazy.
Tripp Welborne puts RoboSpeight to shame.
I hope they bring back the countdown to kick-off series. Even if they were only 2 minute spotlights - I'd take it!
Evans looks mean enough, I bet he loves steak.
Speight: Lamest touchdown half-celebration, ever.
Desmond: Really interesting to watch coverage of a 4th-down catch in the end-zone that doesn't immediately go to review all conceivable angles to determine whether the receiver actually caught the ball. Kind of refreshing...
