Pshhhh we don't even have real grass. Do a little research Onion.

However, I would completely buy Harbaugh rambling about the journey an old tire took in order to become pieces of Fieldturf as some type of metaphor

Somewhere, there is someone in the SEC who has skipped past the fact that this is an Onion piece and is calling into Finebaum's show talking about how Harbaugh gets all this attention and hasn't won anything yet, but no, here he is throwing adulation at a blade of grass. Somewhere, Pete Thamel has not figured out that this is an Onion article and is working on a followup to his hackjob about Harbaugh's way of being.

Then again, Harbaugh would do this if any coach would, and it would be awesome somehow.

Regardless of the author's intent, I'd file this under "All Press is Good Press."

It's not the first Onion piece of its type, either. They're very much aware of Harbaugh.

Find an anthology, read it and accept the genius over time. America has produced brilliant poets inter alia. Whitman would have written about Harbaugh had the timing worked out. And probably contributed something funny to The Onion back when the rag was worthwhile.

Meanwhile, in the realm of the slightly more believable, a reminder for those eager for any team news, no matter how oddly skewwed by a panel of OSU (and now PSU) sycophants on a network that routinely struggles to say things positive about our coach. Tomorrow is Michigan's stop on the BTN bus tour. Not sure about the time yet, but it will likely be after dinner tomorrrow (Friday). I'm sure it will be repeated (though certainly not as often as OSU's was).

This is the same network that can't let a week go by without replaying that fucking MSU game of 2015.
