JT was snubbed! Snubbed I say! Just two spots from getting a 5th star. Maybe if they ranked him as a CB (4 5*s)instead of Safety (1 5*).
But, it doesn't matter. He's a guy who can come in and contribute immediately. Plus he seems to speak and handle himself well, looking forward to more JT interviews for the next four years.

He's also now the top rated player from Ohio. Nice little moral victory I think.

for specific states haven't been sorted since July if you didn't notice.

I think he is going to be one of the impact players for us for years to come.
January 13th, 2009 at 1:03 PM ^
Gallon and Roh might have a shot at the back end of the top 100. Gallon's been there before IIRC.

Surprised his practice/performance didn't get him bumped up. Drew rave reviews, and had the stats to back it up.
January 13th, 2009 at 1:10 PM ^
Many expected him to be in the Top 100 after his performance in the Under Armour game.

He will be the Napoleon of the slot

Roh moved up to #43 (I think) on the ESPNU rankings. ESPN is full of shit on their rankings, but Roh is definitely that good.
January 13th, 2009 at 4:13 PM ^
I think the thing I love most about Roh is he's a very SMART player. Seems like he has very, very good technique for a guy coming right out of high school.
I keep hearing people saying that they're expecting him to redshirt because of his size and Lalota to get PT, but it'd be a shame not to at least use Death Roh as a third down pass rush guy.

I think it's interesting that Jamie Wood dropped from the low 30s (basically where Turner is now) into the 70s largely because Jeremy Gallon tore him to pieces in the Army Bowl practices, and yet Gallon didn't sniff the top 100.
January 13th, 2009 at 5:02 PM ^
Does this mean they're going to update the top 250 again? I'm interested to see where Roh and Gallon move to.
January 13th, 2009 at 5:04 PM ^
New 250 comes out tomorrow. I believe one of the national Rivals guys hinted that both Gallon and Roh will get bumped up about 30 spots each. Gallon was 180 before, and Roh was 199.

It's really nice to see the sheer number of big movers we've got this year.

when Scout will update to it's final ranking?
January 13th, 2009 at 5:15 PM ^
BTW, I'm reading through the thread on the Rivals main board about the new 100...
Justin Turner came very, VERY close to getting a 5th star.
January 13th, 2009 at 5:17 PM ^
or can you give a link

It's premium, sorry.

Turner gets his 5th star on scout at least. Did they give a reason why Turner didn't get his 5th on rivals?
