OT: U-Haul advice (update)
Thanx everyone for the advice on the U-Haul advice. Got the furniture moved this past Friday in the rain. Quite an adventure trying to get a brand new couch from Art Van up 3 flights over narrow stairs when it's wet from the rain/ice showers.
Moving permanently a couple counties over was pretty intimidating at first but it went quite well. Am so happy to be much closer to Ann Arbor now.

what size rig did you rent, how many guys helped, and were any groins injured in the process?
and congrats on the move. suggest you start your usher training so you can work at the games - have you considered that?

My dad and my girlfriend's step dad both helped us with the big furniture like our couch, bed etc.. We were able to get the place a week earlier so we moved boxes and whatever else we could fit in our cars over the course of last week.
We got a 15 foot uhaul that was pretty easy to drive.

Everyone who is able should try to do the usher thing. It's the thing I miss most about moving out of state.

I'm that guy every time I move or help someone move. Pretty sure everyone hates me. I'm hoping they stop asking me to help them move.
