OT: Reuben Foster's dad arrested after being on the run for 16 years,
I found this interesting and thought you guys would too since this is a name that's been popping up. Reuben Foster's dad was arrested in Miami recently. The story involves Rueben as a child. Crazy timing considering his sons commitment.

Generalized statement. I got one after my father passed away and I will never regret it nor will I ever get another one; that would simply diminish its importance to me.

"Foster, lawmen said, shot his estranged wife, Inita Berry Paige, in the back multiple times while she was holding their 18-month child, Reuben. Reuben was also wounded in the gunfire. A Randolph County grand jury indicted Foster in February 1996, but by then Foster had fled to California." - from the article
I did not know this about his past. Very tragic. In a way, it does put into perspective why, throughout his otherwise twist-filled recruitment, he did make it a point to make sure that his daughter had access to daycare and was involved, at least as much as possible for a 3 (now 4, I think) year old. That's been a constant theme at most places he visited, I believe. He seems to be making sure she has something he apparently did not.

Crazy to think that his daughter was born when he was 14/15. God knows I wouldn't have been able to raise a child at that age. Good on him for making sure that she will be taken care of, no matter where he goes.
