Didn't see this posted yet but found this to be pretty cool.  Hoosiers was an excellent movie.

The movie received two Academy Award™ nominations, including Dennis Hopper for Best Supporting Actor, and is widely regarded as one of the best sports movies of all time.

It's actually a really cool idea, I think, and I do like the movie-inspired look here, but to complete the look, someone really needs to be on the bench doing their best "Shooter" Flatch.

hate how inaccurate the movie is.  Granted, I know that very rarely is a movie based on a "true story" in the way that they want you to believe, but in Hoosiers they just made arbitrary changes that did not need to be made and/or completely changed events to create a story that did not happen.  That Milan team was loaded and was a favorite in the State going into the season.  And why cast a 50 year old to play the role of a 25 year old coach?  And why have them beat South Bend Central in the final when they did not play them that year, and got blown out by them the year before?  Why not have them just beat the team they actually beat?  It is a good movie as pure fiction but it could have been semi-non-fictional-ish, maybe just a a little bit.

The film industry is weird, man. Studios are casting a lead role and they want to put butts in the seats. Maybe they thought a 25-30 year old actor wouldn't be as believable. Who knows? I do know that they will sure as hell change a true to life story to get the actor they want.

Hill is wearing Chuck Taylor's. I'd love to see MGM try to get the players wear Chucks for those games. They'd probably have to put up some ridiculous insurance policy is case half the team sprains an ankle or suffers shin splints during the game.
