OT: Charlie Sheen tumbles further down the spiral

Submitted by BlueDragon on

Public Sheen RAGE at creator of Two and a Half Men, Chuck Lorre.  Two and a Half Men's production was initially cancelled for the rest of the season (thank goodness), but CBS later ordered four more episodes starting Monday.  No word on whether Sheen will be back or if TAAHM will get a ninth(!) season.

Edit:  I mis-read the second paragraph on my first reading of the article.  Production is at a standstill and it's unclear if CBS will finish filming the ninth season.

Heard some of the clips on the radio this morning. My favorite:

"[Alcoholics Anonymous] reports a 5% success rate. I report a 100% success rate. Do the math!"

but he's out of control, he is living the life of the character. I guess he has no teeth from his drug use and drinking binges, they fell out and he had them replaced.

I wonder how this affects the kids huge contract he just signed. God knows he will never get a meaningful role again he's gotta be the worst actor in history. He needs that money to last for 60 years.

Until Sheen went crazy, I didn't even realize how popular Two and a Half Men (or Big Bang Theory) was.  I didn't know anyone watched it unless they were stuck on a Delta plane

His show wasn't funny anyway. Never was a big fan of any of the CBS comedies.

That being said, what is actually funnier than his sitcom is his rants on the Alex Jones podcast / radio show / whatever. "I'M A F-18 BRO"

is it going to be assumed that the public at large cares about Charlie Sheen and Lindsey Lohan.

I liked Platoon.  That was the last time that anything relating to Charlie Sheen, either good or bad, entered my mind.

Not to the OP, but to the news shows, tabloids, magazine editors - Enough with Charlie Sheen.

AMERICA LOVES TO PARTY.

The characters will always be changing on this show we call Hollywood - and there will always be interest.

Until he stops generating moutains of money for CBS, he can say whatever he wants without consequence.  I thought the interview yesterday was amusing.

As of now, production of the show has been cancelled for the rest of the season.  CBS and Warner Bros. have not gone back on that decision, even if Charlie says he's going to show up.

The audio makes it clear. This guy has some top shelf blow running through him.

It's also ironic that a guy who was born Carlos Estevez would rip on someone for changing their name.

"People say 'you gotta work through your resentments'.  Yeah, no, I'm gonna hang on to them and they will fuel my attack and they will fuel the battle cry of my deadly and dangerous, secret and silent soldiers.  Cause they are all around you."

I think that was topped when Alex Jones out of the blue says, "You sound like Thomas Jefferson" (which, fucking priceless).

Then Sheen informs the listeners that Jefferson "was a pussy."

That exchange was way more entertaining than anything ever aired in the history of CBS television.

The whole interview with Alex Jones is priceless:

"I dare anyone to debate me on things.  Debate me on AA right now!  I have a disease?  Bullshit I cured it.  I cured it with my brian, with my mind.  I'm cured.  I'm done.  'Well we all have to sit in here and touch ourselves and frown.'  Well you don't look like you are having a lot of fun.  I'm gonna hang out with these two smoking hotties and fly privately around the world.  It might be lonely up here but I sure like the view Alex."

Alex Jones' response:

"Well that's what happens when you are at the top of your game."

Two and a Half Men is one of the only shows that can make me really laugh.  Big Bang Theory......I'm just amazed it made it through its first season.  Still can't believe it is still on the air.
