lutely!

The LAST thing we need is a bunch of visually confirmed facts to get in the way of our rampant speculation.

Like we would ever let facts get in the way of our speculation.
Now excuse me as I write an ode to our lock-down corners in JT Floyd and Cullen Christian.

I'm certain there would be huge demand for scrimmage updates. Speaking for myself, I would prefer to see one large post with a considered review of how the team looked and individual player performances rather than a stream of thoughts like "That was a nice pass from Denard/Tate/Devin."

No way you can "fulfill my desires" unless you bring me back a hot coed.
Posting from the scrimmage sounds great though!!! Best for you to post whatever strikes you as noteworthy rather than try to script it based on our interests. Enjoy your day, and I'm envious that you get to go.

"We hope whatever they see there will stay there," Rodriguez said Friday on WTKA-AM (1050).http://www.freep.com/print/article/20100821/SPORTS06/8210364/Michigan-c…

I'll be there too. I will look for your post later and comment on anything I noticed or deemed interesting.
August 21st, 2010 at 9:53 AM ^
As long as you post some unconfirmed rumor to your twitter, I'm for it.
August 21st, 2010 at 9:56 AM ^
Can you please confirm that there are, in fact, wings at the scrimmage? Thank you.
August 21st, 2010 at 9:58 AM ^
Please don't post anything that will cause any unnecessary drama.

Eh, I'd say pay attention, and just remember what you see. You can post a full roundup (or send it along to Brian) after the scrimmage, and just enjoy yourself while you're there.
August 21st, 2010 at 10:26 AM ^
...I'd prefer that anyone who's there should send their impressions to Brian for his consolidation and editorialization.
My recommendation is to sacrifice some immediacy for a more complete picture.
August 21st, 2010 at 10:42 AM ^
I'm in your camp, but there will be at least 3-4 threads started after the scrimmage regardless. Perhaps Brian can do a compilation?
August 21st, 2010 at 12:25 PM ^
Screw that. Brian doesn't need to be involved; he's got better things to do, anyhow.
You're a big boy. Just compile your observations in a single post and stick it on here.

I presume that ND, OSU, et. al. will have spies in the big house.
I want to know about linebackers and defensive backs. Who starts & how they perform.
Can J.T. Floyd run? Can he keep up with the receivers?
August 21st, 2010 at 2:58 PM ^
revealing special plays for that reason. I think the expectation is to have the units run the show in a game-type setting, having to deal with the no coaches on the field, facilities, plays sent in from the sidelines and substitutions and that sort of stuff.
August 21st, 2010 at 10:06 AM ^
Perhaps whoever posts first should just start an open thread. That way anyone can post, and double posts aren't quite as big of a deal. The rest of us can watch patiently as the updates roll in. Ja?

I'd like to know how Stonum fare's in HD
August 21st, 2010 at 10:12 AM ^
And I would definitely follow tom's advice. Just take some notes if you can.
August 21st, 2010 at 10:19 AM ^
I would suggest that you enjoy the game, and post a few notes afterwards.

could please let us no about the corners and the corners and also the corners in that order would be very kind, oh yea the QB's that also be nice as well. Thank you in advance

'Huskers aren't the only folks who believe in the importance of Nowledge.
August 21st, 2010 at 10:40 AM ^
I want to hear as much about the play of individual players as possible, and general opinions about how things look especially on defense, but do not want to hear anything about formations and schemes--not to be paranoid, but that is something I'm sure they coaches would rather not have out there on the interwebs.
August 21st, 2010 at 11:31 AM ^
When RR was on wtka yesterday, he talked about the scrimmage and said that he would keep schemes very basic and vanilla, and not show anything interesting that might affect the UConn or other games. So, I don't think we have any worries there. Individual performances are what's going to be interesting today.
August 21st, 2010 at 10:41 AM ^
I would imagine they won't have any special plays on display today, but if they do DON'T post them. I'd like to know who is running with the 1s in the back 7(8) and who looks like they are more likely to truck someone between Cox and Toussaint.
August 21st, 2010 at 12:05 PM ^
I can tell you now that Cox is more likely to truck somone, the question is Toussiant good enough at making guys grab dirt to play ahead of Cox. I love the way Toussiant looks in the videos.

umm...yes?

Just wait to post until the scrimmage is over about the whole scrimmage and any observations of players impressing and standing out.
