Mike Martin's Football Camp

Submitted by Cranky Dave on

On the heels of Summer Swarm, SMSB and A4, Mike Martin holds a (free) youth football camp in Ann Arbor.  In attendance were a number of alum, Mattison and a couple of Martin's teammates from the Titans.

Great group of people out with kids just starting to play the game.

Martin's camp -- benefitting the Athletic Angels charity, which aids low income families with gifts, food, and basic supplies -- drew former Michigan standouts Frank Clark (Seattle Seahawks), Larry Foote (retired, now assistant coach for the Arizona Cardinals), Taylor Lewan (Titans), Brandon Graham (Philadelphia Eagles) and LaMarr Woodley (Arizona Cardinals). Martin's Tennessee teammates Jurrell Casey and DaQuan Jones tagged along, as well.

Not a bad cast at all at this camp, right down to Greg Mattison delivering a speech. 350 is an impressive turnout for the first go-around too - hopefully, it grows from here. Excellent way to give back indeed.

In Nashville.  He didn't budge.

But really, saw him walk outside at a bar a couple weeks ago and I recognized him and called out his name.  We spoke for maybe two minutes before he left for another place.  Dude is a beast.
