Simpson with maybe the worst shot in ncaa history. Coming up 5 ft short on a 3
February 1st, 2020 at 4:45 PM ^
Sadly, he's better from 3 than Teske, Dejulius, Wagner, and Nunez in conference games -- and only 2.5% worse than Brooks. He's our 4th best shooter by percentage (3rd if you remove Livers).
February 1st, 2020 at 4:40 PM ^
Rutgers has more talent than us this year. Anyone upset at Howard and think this year is a result of him is blind. No Livers especially, this team just isn’t very talented.
February 1st, 2020 at 4:50 PM ^
It's been a whole lot of Johns Jr and Wagner getting put on skates, and Zavier and Brooks being shot over. If it was football, we'd have a mix of speedy 5'7" corners, and 6'2" corners who run 4.7 40s.

Slap in the face to the fans at Crisler, what were you thinking Warde???
February 1st, 2020 at 4:42 PM ^
This and the hideous ads on the court at Crisler.
If the Football program was a disaster like it was with DB, Warde’s recent blunders would be more talked about.
February 1st, 2020 at 5:44 PM ^
Yeah, because Chrisler is always jammed to the rafters...!
February 1st, 2020 at 6:56 PM ^
Well since the fans at crisler provide essentially no home court advantage given our 3 losses there this year I’m not sure there is much too worry about.
February 1st, 2020 at 4:40 PM ^
UM will have a better offense when their PG can hit the rim.
February 1st, 2020 at 4:40 PM ^
Raised season ticket prices and then they wait until AFTER renewals are due to announce we’re only getting 9 B1G games at home.
Fuck off Warde.
February 1st, 2020 at 4:52 PM ^
If they get 100% of the gate...smart move! This will make way more cash than playing at Crisler. Besides this has a tournament atmosphere to it...I dig it!
February 1st, 2020 at 4:57 PM ^
As difficult as it is to win on the road, especially in this conference, the last thing Michigan needed to do was to hamstring themselves by playing one more road game than anybody else.
This was an indefensible move at the time, and it looks worse now that Rutgers has turned out to be... not what we expected.
February 1st, 2020 at 5:01 PM ^
But, sometimes fans don’t realize it is not always about them. I can almost guarantee you to a man if you asked the coaches/kids would they trade a home game for a chance to play at the Mecca...they would say “Sign me up !”
February 1st, 2020 at 5:05 PM ^
So play Binghamton there in December.
I can almost guarantee you also that if you asked them “would you rather have a better chance at the NCAA tournament, or play one game in MSG,” they’d take the better tournament chance.
February 1st, 2020 at 5:12 PM ^
If they win this increases their chances of making the tournament with another quality neutral site win...so what are you whining about?
February 1st, 2020 at 5:17 PM ^
The chance of winning this game is much worse than it would be in Ann Arbor.
February 1st, 2020 at 5:30 PM ^
We’ve lost 3 games at home this year! Have not loss in a neutral site contest...I like those odds!
February 1st, 2020 at 5:40 PM ^
Ignoring how ridiculous that argument is in general... if this game were in Dallas, it’d be a neutral site game. This is a road game — that won’t count as a road game.
February 1st, 2020 at 6:20 PM ^
Seems to be working out fine for us today!
February 1st, 2020 at 4:53 PM ^
Would it have changed your decision to buy?
February 1st, 2020 at 5:25 PM ^
Honestly yes.
February 1st, 2020 at 4:41 PM ^
Oops, that’s 4:30 PM ET. Sorry, I can’t edit titles...
February 1st, 2020 at 4:43 PM ^
Right time for me haha
February 1st, 2020 at 4:42 PM ^
Whoever made this scheduling decision should take a pay cut.
February 1st, 2020 at 4:42 PM ^
Rutgers has much better players...we don't stand a chance.
February 1st, 2020 at 4:44 PM ^
Heat check failed...shocking.
Dammit Eli hit that!
February 1st, 2020 at 4:45 PM ^
Things are coming together for Brandon Johns Jr
February 1st, 2020 at 5:00 PM ^
Hitting the open shots that have been there all year. I hope it continues. Zavier will get everyone open looks, just gotta knock em down at 35%+ rather than <30%. That's the difference between Atlantis and Conference.
February 1st, 2020 at 4:46 PM ^
“Home game.”
Good Lord.
February 1st, 2020 at 4:48 PM ^
Not a charge. Not a block either. He flopped with minimal contact. Should have been a no call.
February 1st, 2020 at 4:48 PM ^
We’re undefeated and shoot real well in neutral site games...so this may be a plus! ??♂️
February 1st, 2020 at 4:49 PM ^
Also remember JB was 46-53 in his first 3 seasons let JH get time for his recruits to get here.
February 1st, 2020 at 5:03 PM ^
As far as I'm concerned every coach deserves a mulligan their first year. Howard's report card really begins next year when "his guys" start coming in.
February 1st, 2020 at 5:09 PM ^
Bingo
February 1st, 2020 at 4:53 PM ^
Can they please hit something wide open? Should be in double digits fucking a
February 1st, 2020 at 4:55 PM ^
That was a foul, but it wasn’t a shooting foul. Wagner landed on the guy well before he had a chance to shoot.
Also, nice to see the 38% free throw shooter swish a pair. ?
February 1st, 2020 at 4:55 PM ^
The fuck was that in bound?
February 1st, 2020 at 4:56 PM ^
Welp! Johns came to play today
February 1st, 2020 at 5:01 PM ^
Maybe something clicked for Johns. Hopefully. Playing well last 1.5 games. Teske with two questionable fouls, that isn’t good. They need him on the floor.
February 1st, 2020 at 5:02 PM ^
Everyone shitting on warde should realize we shoot much better at neutral site games. He’s just playing the long con
February 1st, 2020 at 5:10 PM ^
Win or lose this game should have been played in Crisler Arena!
February 1st, 2020 at 5:06 PM ^
That was one of the most bizarre bounces I've ever seen. The angle, the direction and height of the bounce ... not one you see often.
February 1st, 2020 at 5:09 PM ^
Zavier is hoopin today
February 1st, 2020 at 5:15 PM ^
That’s mainly bc he’s not being ball dominant. He’s facilitating as he should.
February 1st, 2020 at 5:16 PM ^
Always good to hear the traditional “R! U!” chant at a Michigan “home game.”
This is seriously embarrassing.
February 1st, 2020 at 5:31 PM ^
Rutgers making out like bandits this year. They get two home games against Michigan and doesn't cost them a damn thing apart from some bus fare.
February 1st, 2020 at 5:19 PM ^
OK, so *that* wasn’t a shooting foul, but the one where Wagner landed at the guy as he was collecting he rebound was? Give me a break.
February 1st, 2020 at 5:23 PM ^
Awful way to end half. Just brutal.
February 1st, 2020 at 5:23 PM ^
I sure hope some of the powerful alumni call out Warde for this home game what a joke. I’ll take the Maize Rage over this nonsense any day.
February 1st, 2020 at 5:25 PM ^
More wealthy alumni live in New York than Ann Arbor. This game is for them.
also the maize rage is a joke
