This kid seems like he has been very conflicted on where to go so no matter who he picks it may not be over until he signs. I would definitely say picking between Virgina and Michigan is picking between 2 great options but no idea with FSU.

See, "title says it all" is one of the reasons I am glad I returned from the blog vacation, because this is rarely ever the case. Granted, people have come up with some very informative, if verbose, titles in the past, but blanks usually get filled in the comments.

Perhaps "title says a fair portion of it"?

FSU has obviously brought out the bag because they are recruiting like gangbusters. Leonard Hamilton hasnt done shit there and all of the sudden they are recruiting like the number one team in the nation? Wtf ever!

You're comment made me look him up, because I didn't know anything about Hamilton. I was shocked to learn that dude is 71 years old. That's 5 years older than Beilein, and he really hasn't done that much to justify the recruiting he's been doing the past 2 years. It doesn't really pass the smell test, but that's college basketball these days.

Premature take at this time. Came late to the party his 1st year. Got this mess going on in his 2nd year. He did lose out on a couple of top rated kids but signed a very good class in year one. Juwan will do MMB proud before all is said and done.

You’re probably right but I’m convinced that the Christopher and Todd recruitments absolutely killed us from a 5 star recruiting standpoint.  I don’t have any doubts he’s still going to recruit well but mostly in the 50-150 range and not higher.  Basically John Beilein which is fine but I won’t lie that I kind of expected more.

Other than the fact that he played for the Fab Five, there is always questions about him taking the job at least in my mind. No head coaching experience, nothing to do with recruiting at all. His biggest Advantage was having kids that played AAU  and having access to a few kids. And while Martelli was a decent teacher he had that one outstanding year with two NBA guards other than that he's honestly been average in an average conference. Juwan's going to have to prove it on the court and then the big time kids will probably show up pending results
