Congrats to Kirk S/ Spiff’s Bracket!  At the end of the Sweet 16 he is still alone at the top of the MGO Tourney Bracket with 64 points. 

Runners-up:

2 Hotel Putingrad – 63 points (moving up 2 spots!)

3 Wil/ Tuba1060’s MGoBracket – 61 points (down 1 spot)

4 Dave/ DP22 – 60 points (down 1 spot)

5 Ozmaticon/ Pick Flick – 59 points(coming out of nowhere to crack the top 5!)

6 (2-way tie) NickG and BrawneyLad – 58 points

4-way tie for 8th place with 57 points

What were your best picks and biggest misses?

I only had 3 correct picks in the Sweet 16 – all chalk.

Picking Illinois to be in the final is definitely my worst overall pick.  They were the only team I was afraid of in this tourney.  With them out, it is M all the way!

Just as I predicted a few rounds ago, Putin keeps climbing the standings.   Between his army of hackers surreptitiously changing shot clocks and altering video replays (c'mon, we all know who really made the Bama shorts appear to move on that video replay late in the game against UCLA) to strong-armed tactics that force the likes of Will Wade to not employ any offensive tactics and referees to forget how to count to 5 (that 5-second call on Eli Brooks was the fastest count I've ever seen).    Putin will win.   He always does.
