IMO I am surprised how well MLB is doing. The Cardinals and maybe Marlins are outliers but for the most part they are over a third of the season (not without learning experiences) with most games being played. As crappy as the Tigers are I get to see the potential future and it is a much needed distraction.

It’s been less than a month and 10% of the teams have now had separate outbreaks that require the postponement of games. At one point the cardinals had played 15 games less than a team in their division. Unless your expectation was that the season would be canceled I don’t see them doing all that well

10% LOL
Matter of fact I did expect the season to be cancelled. I watched a shitload of baseball today. I'm happy, mission accomplished.

What's dumb is the fact teams like the Cardinals didn't play for two weeks because guys were sick. They have tons of guy to choose from to bring up and replace others. That's been their biggest issue is the plan to replace the sick is unrealistic.

Not to start a new thread, but ECU football had to stop practice for an outbreak

Correction: Nobody in the MLB has had issues. Players have tested positive with the virus. Which....means nothing. But, PANIC!

The relative few positive tests I see as a sign that the MLB's plan is working. They aren't in a bubble so they can't eliminate spread entirely.
They test so often that cases are identified quickly and players are isolated. Seems like there haven't been serious issues.
Overall I think MLB has handled it as well as can be expected.

Exactly who's ever idea it was to have team sit out for five days cuz of one player having the virus was a dumb move. sure take precautions retest everybody the next day or so but then let's go you've got large rosters to replace these guys. What the Cardinals did was a total overreaction
