Khaleke Hudson Senior Film

Submitted by FutureOfA2 on

With speculation that Khaleke Hudson could possibly be next to join the class--and someone who is not always talked about as much--I figured I would leave this here. Ahmir Mitchell has been actively recruiting him on Twitter and Hudson even took note of Walker's commitment today. 5'11 200 pound athlete from PA, plays in the largest class in PA, 88 composite ranking.

After watching his film, the kid can flat out play. If you like watching football, please watch this--he's got a little Jabrill Peppers to him, just lacking the elite speed.

Looks like a legit 4* safety very raw but sees the game well and has very adequete athleticism. I would even take him over Long just cause i feel safety is still a position where we need one more guy for 2017. Redshirt then let him compete for a starting spot.

man this kid is impressive, he does everything, can actually throw the ball really well, when he hits people they go down violently.

He looks like he could be a good LB with some added weight and can play FB too the way he took those quick handoffs like Houma did this year, I loved it.

I think he believes he can score from anywhere what's better is he does in almost every carry. He is deceptively fast he may look like he is going to be stopped and bang shifts into a different gear and then the defense is watching him get in the end zone. He is physical not afraid to put his nose in there thats for sure. Gotta have him, he is special.

Glad to see others on the Board finally getting on Board with this kid.One of the most impressive highlight tapes in this class. Has a Jan. 15 official set.

Incredible film.  And as much as I like him as a safety, I think he actually looks even better with the ball in his hands.  He's got an awesome combination of size, speed, balance, and power.  I know we just picked up the best running back in the class earlier today, but Hudson looks like he could be a great running back.

I hate watching top recruits' HS highlight tapes. They look un-human-like and everyone else looks like it's their first time every playing football. And the problem with this is that they're so much more talented than the other HS players, but when they get to college they're on a level playing field. So it's basically impossible for the average joes to get anything out of watching high light reels from HS. I mean, look at Greens, and looks where he is now.

I get what you're saying, and I agree with you to an extent, but Derrick Green was a man amongst boys who had straight line speed. If you watch his film the most he had to do was one cut and maybe break an arm tackle from a 5'10 175 pound linebacker. It was hard to ignore the numbers he put up though; hence, his recruiting ranking. Green is still built like a man and still has decent straight line speed, but the LBs aren't average sized high school seniors anymore and his O-line isn't opening gaping holes. And when you watch Green's high school film, he doesn't showcase all too great vision or much agility, or the greatest pass protection. There are more factors than a senior film, I get that, but what Khaleke is doing showcases his all around ability: his power, agility, hands, explosiveness, and tenacity. Rankings and film can only project so much but that's what recruiting is and it most definitely has its exceptions. That's what separates the Harbaughs from the Hokes.

Okay I will admit, I only watched Green's tape once. So it was a bad example to use, but I haven't seen many others to be honest. I just know that every time I seen ANY high recruits highlight tapes it's all the same. Man amongst boys. I can certainly understand why Green wasn't that impressive in his highlights. But I'm just saying that MANY highly ranked recruits who end up being busts have great high light reals. So my point is that they can only tel you so much about how good they will be in college at the highest level.

because the high schoolers can't catch him especially in space. If you look closely you could see how he would do well in college I would say he is a can't miss as a LB, safety, and corner amaizing. But he should get the ball and Walker will need some rest . I am not sure there is any chance at getting him but we must try..

of making sure he doen't become a Spartan, I see the Ol' volleyball coach is offering him. This guy, if he's that good at the next level, would be a nightmare to play against.

but considering our other positional needs and limited numbers of scholarships available, seems to me he'd only end up at Michigan if a bunch of other recruits failed to qualify or decommitted. I'd rather take an OL, DL, or LB.
