Khaki: His and his and his and hers

Submitted by BornInA2 on

After a slow start, it seems that our Coach is back in form, and it's catching on. I think we need a sticky thread for all things khaki-related. Or at least a new "Khaki:" subject prefix.

Off to load up on Walmart stock. And khakis. Because khaki.

Yeah, I'm trying to be cool just by stating how I feel about something. I know I'm new to this board but I think I have it down on how it works. As long as I just go along with everyone else and don't post thoughts that are in contradiction to what's popular I'll get up voted. Thanks for clarifying that for me. Yeah khakis. Khakis, khakis and more khakis. The only thing better than a pair of khakis is two pair of khakis. I got a fever, and the only prescription, is more khakis. Better?

Though I think they are ugly as hell, I like the irony of a guy who makes $9.51/second every second of every hour of every day ($13,699/day) pretty much only wearing $13 Walmart pants.

You got it. Sadly there is a circle of misery on this board---you're either with them or against them, and you never know which one it will be since their mood swings are as varied as the direction of the wind.

I cringe at the idea that Michigan football's sartorial contribution will be the pleated khaki. I love having Harbaugh as our coach, and I love his intensity, but the less I think about the unmitigated disaster that is the pleated khaki, the better.

Can we please acknowledge, swallow hard, and just move on?

http://www.amazon.com/Dockers-Khaki-Classic-University-Michigan/dp/B00I… I might try a do-it-yourself at a lower "per-unit" cost. First I'm gonna try it on a homemade Jeffster t-shirt. If that goes well, I'll try it on the more "expensive" khakis. http://www.walmart.com/search/?query=pleated%20khahi%20pants&sort=price… http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002201YEC/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s… http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B008JA4PZY/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s… The Amazon review linked below (caveat emptor) states that the determining factor of whether the ink will withstand normal washing is whether the ink is pigment-based. Thus, it might be that the scotchgard is overkill for pigment based inks (Espon) but not enough for non-pigment ink (HP colors, HP black is likely pigment based). http://www.amazon.com/review/R73X4Z1JVXED8/ref=cm_cr_pr_perm?ie=UTF8&AS…

This photo is amazing. Are they having a seance? Why is the guy on the right gently caressing The Harbaugh? The guy on the left, where is his hand going? Is Harbaugh seeing god?
