Jed Ortmeyer's (former Michigan hockey player) Players Tribune Article
Good article about how far athletes are willing to go to get back on the field or ice. First person about his battle with blood clots. It's a good read, basically he was willing to die to keep playing hockey.

Jed was a class act all the way. A great example of the type of athlete and individual that we want to see on our favorite teams.
(With that being said, it saddens me that you felt the need to put "(former Michigan hockey player)" in your title. I would hope that the fans on this board would know that just by seeing his name.

Looks like a great excuse to post these again. Oh the days of hockey being elite and regionals being in Yost...
The audio doesn't do the crowd justice. I've heard it was as deafening in there after that goal as it was in 1998 when we stuck in the game winner vs North Dakota

I was there, in the pressbox, for this. It was the loudest I have heard a crowd at any sporting event, and I am now 35 years old. The press box was literally swaying 3 inches back and forth from the deafening noise. It was surreal.
