somewhat odd because we were actually really good, for a somewhat extended period of time, but I really don't think it "took."  The other night during the Nova v. Illinois game, they had a blip about the Zona v. Michigan game on Saturday.  Afterwards, Bilas and whatever also ran who was calling the game addressed the matchup and discussed only Zona, like it is was Zona v. some scrub that Zona was going to beat down.  Michigan was not mentioned.  Not that they were good, bad, or indifferent.  No mention of the of the NJIT, no mention of the fall out of the rankings, just nothing.  It was kind of disappointing.

Timmy plays ZERO defense (which is NOT the case with Melo, no matter how much that might suit your narrative).  Melo has actually done a decent job of passing out of the high post in the triangle: he's the only one that seems to "get" it.

Timmy is a one-dimensional player at this point.

You are right about the fact that THJ has no right to call Melo out. But any team with a player as good as Melo should not be 4-19. He has enough offensive prowess to carry them to the playoffs. Which he won't do this year. He needs to stop thinking of himself so highly.
