Just heard that. I'm okay for this game, I suspect its just precautionary and we'll see him back next week. Hopefully at full strength. I was hoping he'd sit, anyway, to help it heal. Won't need him today...

I know this is trying to look on the bright side. I want to as well.
But this is bad, bad news. The chances of him being unable to even dress now, and able to play at close to full speed against Wisco’s big uglies next week, are very small.
I feel better about this than I would have before the season, given how guys like Paye have stepped up, but this is really bad.
He’s not being held out. He’s not even dressing. Not good.

Do you have any reason to believe he's not being held out? Would seem really smart to me to hold him out actually.

If they are holding him out there is no sense then even dressing him. Give him the weekend off and have him ready to go next week. I don’t think not dressing means it anything worse then if he’d dressed and stood on the sidelines all day anyways

He had a hurt shoulder last year too. It was clearly hurting him several times last season. I wonder if he should have had surgery in the off season but opted not to. If it’s a small tear he might need to rest a month. I hope not. We need him the next 3 weeks.
