Michigan baseball team on the road for the rubber match against Nebraska on BTN. Michigan is 12-10 on the year and 1-1 in conference. Offense has been very good this year but pitching and defense have left a bit to be desired.

A little bit of Michigan small-ball wizardry combined with Cornhusker ineptitude produces back-to-back Michigan runs.
Now 5-1 as a fly out ends the top half of the 7th inning.

Rogers just misses HR on 3-2 pitch in top of 8th; just a long out but still leading by 4 runs. However, M Baseball proving this weekend against Nebraska in their house that they’re ready for Big Ten play. It’s going to be an interesting season to watch them compete.
Frey with a key 2-out RBI in the 9th! Having a great day with 2 hits and 3 RBI. BAKICH is obsessed with 2-out RBI’s, so he must be pretty happy. 5 run lead now for M.
The final score is 6-1 Michigan so Coach Bakich's job appears to be safe for another week.
