Dax Hill will return to practice mid week
Jim Harbaugh on Dax Hill: I think he's going to be fine. Anticipate him practicing mid week, tomorrow or Wednesday.

I missed the reason Eubanks didn't get any snaps last week. Any help?
October 26th, 2020 at 1:31 PM ^
No help, but would you take a welp?
October 26th, 2020 at 1:33 PM ^
From now on, I'll only take welps from this dog.
October 26th, 2020 at 1:47 PM ^
Have you seen any of that dog's reviews on Yelp?
October 26th, 2020 at 2:32 PM ^
On the butt of your teammates, you give a skelp.
October 26th, 2020 at 2:11 PM ^
I make the same face when my wife makes me eat kelp
October 26th, 2020 at 2:08 PM ^
You asked for help. Hope this'll Help!
October 26th, 2020 at 6:18 PM ^
mixed feelings on the actual "-elp" jokes but absolutely love the "Bench Mason pushing guy 10 yards OOB" commitment to playing thru the whistle in this thread.
October 26th, 2020 at 7:34 PM ^
sure, let's take a drive killing penalty more often
October 26th, 2020 at 2:57 PM ^
Reportedly "working on something/ working through something"
October 26th, 2020 at 1:29 PM ^
Thank goodness. They pointed out on the MGoPodcast how the absence of Dax really was noticeable on the 2nd half defense.
October 26th, 2020 at 1:34 PM ^
Pretty amazing how much he is already making such an impact. Pretty sure he'll have a big play or two against Sharty.
October 26th, 2020 at 1:42 PM ^
+1 for using Sharty.
October 26th, 2020 at 4:15 PM ^
If the name fits. When you drink as much Schlitz, Milwaukee’s Best and Busch as the folks in EL, you don’t trust a fart.
October 26th, 2020 at 4:44 PM ^
Don't forget
October 26th, 2020 at 5:02 PM ^
Upvote for sharty
October 26th, 2020 at 4:02 PM ^
I'll take one of these please.
October 26th, 2020 at 4:04 PM ^
They lost their 'S' to Rutgers, they are now M_U.
October 26th, 2020 at 5:28 PM ^
^^^^^^
I believe they are now known as taee.
???
October 26th, 2020 at 1:35 PM ^
Paige struggled out there but that's a function of talented player simply not ready for primetime. That D does need Dax though.
October 26th, 2020 at 3:20 PM ^
True freshman Paige vs Bateman was not a fair evaluation of Paige!
October 26th, 2020 at 4:15 PM ^
I agree. Anybody expecting a true freshman safety to cover an early round NFL draft pick WR successfully in a year with no spring practice doesn't understand how this works. Paige was in strictly for damage control and that was the type of performance we got. Defenses are behind this year, have expectations grounded in reality.
October 26th, 2020 at 2:06 PM ^
I don't believe the UFR will be kind to Paige but it's his first live B10 action. He lost containment on a few runs that were bounced outside.
October 26th, 2020 at 2:07 PM ^
They plugged Paige in 1 for 1 for Dax and it went very not well. Then they swapped Green on Bateman when he was in the slot and it went better but then run support from the safety position (often manned by CBs) declined. Dax is able to do both roles and probably the only player on our roster able to do that.
October 26th, 2020 at 2:41 PM ^
Time to change Shea head to Joe Milton head.
October 26th, 2020 at 2:43 PM ^
Ha, good call. The lead up to this season caught me off guard, for obvious reasons.
Edit: changed it to Josh Gattis.
October 26th, 2020 at 2:58 PM ^
Agreed. Paige is not going to cover slot WRs across the field and set the edge on runs as a true freshman. He's the lanky deep field S who can get over the top on deep throws while Hawkins helps in run support and drags, and Hill gets man coverage. Jarrod Wilson/Dymonte Thomas is who he reminds Brian of and I agree there as well. Putting him in as the Nickleback in man coverage is not going to work this season. Next year or as a junior? Sure. This year he needs Hill to play the role he's not ready to fill.

And yet somehow completely unnoticed by the crack team announcing the game.
October 26th, 2020 at 4:10 PM ^
Too busy slobbering over the Buckeyes to have time for that. Also, apparently too busy to do prep work and reference the pronunciation guide for our left guard. He sounded like Scooby Doo "Filaroogarah"
October 26th, 2020 at 4:45 PM ^
That was crazy. They were talking him up quite a bit too and never noticed he was out?
I feel like I noticed within three plays, like why is number 7 still out there getting torched and edged (and for the record, I think the kid has a bright future but as a true frosh, he had a rough game)? And how are we getting Michael Barret puke updates but not Dax Hill injury updates?
And then when they were like, we have news from the sideline that will impact Michigan's entire season, I was like fuuuuuuuuuuuuu...Dax is done."
Harbaughs pants! That was it. Read the room, c'mon.
October 26th, 2020 at 1:39 PM ^
YAY!!!
October 26th, 2020 at 1:41 PM ^
Why is no talking about Dalton Hill? He must have left the game around the same time as Dax, because I never heard Herbstreit mention Dalton again after Dax left the field.
S/ for the serious folks.
October 26th, 2020 at 1:52 PM ^
Kirk Herbstreit also has multiple pronunciations for FILIAGA. If only there were some way to use the internet to discover the proper pronunciation of FILIAGA.
October 26th, 2020 at 2:16 PM ^
He also kept talking about Hashan Haskins early on.
It was more bothersome that he and Fowler kept comparing every person/aspect of the team to OSU during the game. It felt like they discussed them almost as much as UM and Minn combined.
October 26th, 2020 at 4:34 PM ^
Herbie is destined to fill the "employ him even while he's on life support" void left by Brett Muffburger
October 26th, 2020 at 4:49 PM ^
I miss Mussberger - I still listen to him on some of Michigan replay games on B1G network - I thought he was great - no Keith Jackson, but no one is (was)
October 26th, 2020 at 6:48 PM ^
Even the GD trivia answer was Ohio State FFS.
October 26th, 2020 at 2:55 PM ^
I couldn't stop laughing at Herbstreit during the Filiaga pronunciation
October 26th, 2020 at 3:05 PM ^
He did the same thing on McGrone.
Good job Herbstraight!
October 26th, 2020 at 4:08 PM ^
Maybe Herbie was going old school with a sneaky shout-out to his pal Brent Mushmouth?
Ahh, the "Anthony Avant" days....
October 26th, 2020 at 4:23 PM ^
He really called him Anthony Avant?
why even bother with the first name if you have no idea? Anthony isn’t even close to Jason.
only issue I can see is how to pronounce the last name. I can see both ah-VAHNT. and AY-vant if you didn’t know.
October 26th, 2020 at 2:11 PM ^
He left to go eat some JEEROS
October 26th, 2020 at 2:54 PM ^
Now that you mention it, they did have a time pronouncing all sorts of names and words Sat night.
October 26th, 2020 at 2:54 PM ^
Did they also refer to Sainristil as a 5th year player who came back to help to receiving corps? For a prime time game, you would think the prep would be better.
October 26th, 2020 at 2:59 PM ^
I caught that too, not sure who they were thinking of, most our receivers are underclassmen.
October 26th, 2020 at 6:44 PM ^
That was the best part about it, it was wrong and simultaneously made no sense at all.
October 26th, 2020 at 4:41 PM ^
They did. My indifferent 14 year old looked over and said, "What are they talking about?" Top level trash when he is engaged in their commentary.
October 26th, 2020 at 3:43 PM ^
I think Herb was either smoking some herb during the broadcast or the vodka was flowing freely. He was lost and stumbling over names a number of times.
October 26th, 2020 at 4:07 PM ^
It's not Herbstreit's fault that he likes Missouri State football.

All this talk about Hill being out of the game but NOBODY IS SAYING WHAT HAPPENED!
