Mark May just picked Michigan as the team most likely to lose because Hoke told his players he left by text so "it would be fitting for them to pull the upset".
Holtth picked USC as the ranked team most likely to lose.

leave it to Mark May to come up with some in-depth analysis

Trying my inaugural bottle today. Usually a single malt guy but had to see if it lived up to the hype.

Wazzu flag guy, you will be avenged today.

I wonder what it costs to travel to each destination every Saturday. I guess it depends if he goes to the game (which I hope he does), stays overnight, buys beer, etc.
September 24th, 2011 at 11:11 AM ^
If I recall correctly, they ship the flag to Washington State fans in the area if they aren't making the trip. It's impressive, but not as impressive when you learn that it's not the same dudes every week.

any ESPN links for gameday? (I don't have ESPN, just ESPN3.) TIA.
September 24th, 2011 at 10:39 AM ^
froze a little too frequently for me. But still, much appreciated. The top link Dagger provided seems to be a little smoother.
September 24th, 2011 at 10:08 AM ^
am not going to the game today, I suppose I can check in to Gameday. The only reason I will watch them is because of #21.
September 24th, 2011 at 10:12 AM ^
FFFFUUUUUUU Pitbull. You suck.
September 24th, 2011 at 10:32 AM ^
You mean you're not having a real good time watching Game Day?!
Between this and the J-Lo Fiat commercial (I srsly saw that one 4 times within like a 5 minute time span last weekend), it could be a long day of watching football.
September 24th, 2011 at 10:24 AM ^
at WVU today looks like a cool campus as well
September 24th, 2011 at 10:25 AM ^
have a steam site for the game today. Hear the game is on BTN no?
September 24th, 2011 at 10:29 AM ^
...players and reminded them that it's 7:30 a.m. on their internal clocks. Yawn.
The "Brady Hoke is a bad man because he texted his players about taking the UM job when oh by the way the players were on winter break" is just plain dumb. At least he texted them without any naked pictures involved.

There's an old saying in my department: "If you have a nice drain pipe, you sure as hell better show it off."
September 24th, 2011 at 10:30 AM ^
Loving the "Jarrett Lee eats boogers" sign.
September 24th, 2011 at 10:31 AM ^
In addition to talking smack about Hoke it sounds like Kyle Turley is making an appearance at the game this week. My brother has his food cart, normally set up at Marks Carts, down by the stadium. The San Diego State fans have a party going on behind him at Main and Pauline which is led by Kyle Turley’s band.
So if you are looking to say hello to our opponents fan base and their leader, in a respectful manor of course, you know where they are at. I guess Turley’s band does not sound that bad.
If you are in the area you can also grab an excellent Catala-style pulled pork sandwich. My brother is a great chef, and Michigan grad, so I know if will be good - sorry had to throw the plug in there to help out my brother.
Go Blue

Nice insider info!
The only problem with this scenario is that I'm terribly afraid of Kyle Turley. He's a scary man.
BTW, does his band cover any Pop Evil?
September 24th, 2011 at 11:12 AM ^
The 'respectful manor' part is critical. Don't be a Tudor.
September 24th, 2011 at 10:49 AM ^
Kinda shy'd away from giving the Mountaineer some love. Me think he is going to get boo'd today.
September 24th, 2011 at 10:56 AM ^
Chris Martin does not know anything.* He just claimed Vincent Smith needs to learn how to become a good blocker in pass pro-(?). I feel like Martin needs to go become the athletic director of a small high school named something like the WITHERTON FALLS TOADS so he can fistpump cliches at minds at least impressionable to be impressed. Please don't pay him anymore, BTN.
*Also true philosophically, I guess
September 24th, 2011 at 11:04 AM ^
I can understand how ESPN analysts don't know all college football teams inside and out, but Chris Martin has to study 12 teams. He should know Vincent Smith is a monster blocker. Watching any game will give you this information.

So, Des, you're picking Clemson over FSU today, eh? FSU was your preseason pick to win the NC just a few weeks back...or did you forget?
September 24th, 2011 at 10:55 AM ^
and dont have their starting QB and only have 4 healthy receivers
September 24th, 2011 at 10:57 AM ^
You can't stick with a losing prospect once your chips are lost.
My prediction of Michigan winning the NC this year is still alive, though. ;-)
September 24th, 2011 at 10:58 AM ^
Clemson seems to be pretty overrated. They look like an SEC team, lots of speed and the players are huge. I'm picking them to take the ACC
September 24th, 2011 at 11:02 AM ^
About to cry during another Gameday cnacer/kid story, after I vowed loing ago to igniore them. Oh well
September 24th, 2011 at 11:05 AM ^
September 24th, 2011 at 11:10 AM ^
They're trying to get a lot of mileage out of "Country Roads," and too many " *picture* > *picture* " Isn't that like, the lamest possible smack talk?
Maybe it's my M&B glasses, but I think we set the bar high at the ND game.
September 24th, 2011 at 11:13 AM ^
currently near a TV, but are they still playing the Big & Rich song again? I wonder when ESPN will realize this got old 3 years ago

Well played courch burners.

Anyone know of the michigan bar in milwaukee?
September 24th, 2011 at 11:29 AM ^
As the years go by and this guy gets more annoying and whiny it's really hard to picture him as the Outland Trophy winner and an anchor on the infamous Hogs oline of the Redskins.

I loved the sign a WVU fan was holding:
ware is my confrince?
September 24th, 2011 at 11:49 AM ^
Shit. I have some Hello Kitty in me. LSU is going to bring it out of me.
September 24th, 2011 at 1:29 PM ^
Well our game is going a bit better than most predicted.
