Miguel's homers are especially good to see. Really wish he could have been healthy through his early-mid 30s. Still a hall of famer, but could have been an all-timer.

It’s hard to come to work every day and work as hard as you need to work to be in the shape that you need to be in to be at Miguel Cabrera’s level when the organization is absolute dog shit and your team is headed absolutely nowhere but the #1 pick in the draft.

That is a dumb ass comment imo.

He gets paid more in a year than most will make in a lifetime. Not sure if that’s correct but sounds good.  Someone can do the math.

If 25-30 million a year can’t keep you in shape than fuck you.

Also, this isn’t dogging Miggy.  Miggy just hit a bad stretch of injuries.  I don’t think they were his fault.  None of us.would know.

Can't forget the stuff that's been going on in Venezuela the past 2+ years too. It cannot feel good having your family members lives on the line constantly, with no way of helping. What's all that money worth if it can't help save what's most important?

The hell are you talking about ‘could have been an all timer?’

He’s among the best R handed hitters to EVER play this game, arguably only behind Pujols in the modern era.

Dude is a career .315 hitter who will end up with over 500 HR and over 1,700 RBI. He also won a World Series and a triple crown. I would say he’s an all time great but I’m not sure what your definition is...

That's not very nice.

Of course he is one of the best of this era. All-time for me is the few of all-time. He's clearly behind Ruth, Cobb, Williams, Pujols, Bonds, A-rod, Mays, Trout, and a handful more. Injuries did him in. He should end up a top 25 player all time offensively. Defensively he's kinda bad, so overall he's a fringe top 50 player or so. Nothing to laugh at, but I am not an idiot.

He's still and all-timer.  Triple Crown, back to back MVP.  Will retire with 500+ HR and 3000+ hits.  Only 5 other players have done that.

as DET's young pitching staff and young position players continue to develop, there's going to be some highs this season, but DET will still likely lose 90+ games in '20...then in '21 they'll be a playoff contender (in the expanded MLB playoffs) - and in '22 they'll be legit again.

there theme song for the next two seasons will be G&R's "patience"
