"Every Michigan starter since Elvis Grbac in 1989 has at least made an NFL roster (but that came to a sudden halt with the start of the Rich Rodriguez era)."
Really? Because the last time I checked, Steven Threet wasn't even eligible to enter the NFL.
Threet might never get to the NFL, but this is an unnecessary dig at Michigan/Rodriguez and extremely premature.
Also, these articles include the names of "Edgerring James" and "Matt Cassell" so I'm not too impressed with their journalistic integrity...
I think they were using stats from 2004, as it lists Navarre/Grbac/etc. as being record Michigan passing record holders. Not once did they mention any of Henne's stats, or you know, that he appears to be the most NFL ready of the bunch (recently, and all apologies to Brady).

of the RichRod era was Nick Sheridan, so yeah, the streak probably ends. When I saw Robbie Bosco's name, I died a little inside.

Absolutely right.
for Florida and Florida State are Tebow and Weinke, respectively. One has yet to throw a pass in the NFL and the other has never produced a thing in the NFL.
This journalist reeks of incompetence.

"The Ensemble –Tyrone Wheatley, Mike Hart, Tim Biakabatuka, Jamie Morris, Chris Perry, Rob Lytle, Butch Woolfolk, Bill Taylor, Leroy Hoard, Gordon Bell, Harlan Huckleby, B.J Askew, Ed Shuttlesworth, Jarrod Bunch, Jon Vaughn and Michael Hart"
The guy that wrote this needs to provide more details about Michael Hart. Or maybe Mike is short for Michael.

gets credit for two Adrian Petersons, doubling Michael "Mike" Heart was the least Scout could do.

Putting us behind Florida and Florida State in the combined Pro/College QB rankings is silly. Just tell yourself "they're including NFL performance" and then read through the Florida list. You might laugh.
As for FSU, I'm extremely unimpressed, but I do not recognize several of the names. If these guys were truly outstanding and I just don't know of them because I was born or old enough to see them...maybe. But I doubt it.
Magnus is 100% correct that the Rodriguez dig was unnecessary and (as yet) unsupported. I am really getting sick of that...

should at the least jump over the Florida schools and probably BYU and Washington too. Looking at NFL productivity, I would put Brady, Harbaugh, and Grbac or Joe Montana, Joe Thiesman, and Steve Beuerlein up against any trio from schools 3 through 6.

The Rich Rod era starts with Tate Forcier and not Threet or Sheridan. Both are part of the Carr era, if you want to get technical.

That article is bogus especially the one about combining QB's Pro and College production. Obviously I am a little bias here but how is Michigan not at least top 3? The author knows Tom Brady went to Michigan right? Tom Brady, winner of 3 Super Bowls and NFL record older. You could make a case for BYU with Steve Young and Jim McMahn and throw in Ty Detmer for college sake and maybe Notre Dame with Joe Montana and Theisman both Super Bowl winners, but taken into account NFL production there is no way UF, FSU, UW or any other school should be rated higher.
Dumb article!
This type of thing isn't really quantifiable. For example, Danny Wuerffel was a great college QB who had practically zero NFL career. So who would you rank highest - Brian Griese, who had a decent college career and has had a mediocre NFL career...or Wuerffel, who was absolutely great in college but did nothing after that?
