MGoWallpaper: Speed in Space
Football season. It is here.
One of the phrases we've been hearing a lot this offseason has been "Speed in Space." This is Josh Gattis' mantra and it has been hyping up Michigan fans for months. Gattis, Shea Patterson, a slew of NFL wide-receivers, and a capable o-line is giving us a lot of hope for the offense this year.
Acquire speed, release it in space. Score points.
So for this wallpaper, my inspiration was the intro to the original "Lost in Space" TV series. This show was well before my time (and I've never actually watched it), but it was the first thing that popped in my head. The original intro has a really cool font and animation style, so I went with that. It wasn't hard to convert a spacesuit into a football uniform.
Without further ado, here is the wallpaper: (Download Full Res for Desktop & Mobile)

I think of the old Muppets skit that was called "Pigs in Space" when I see the phrase Speed in Space.

I do have this on a shirt for sale but didn't want to be too self-promotional here.
If you're really interested, you can find it on my Twitter.

Did Gattis ®️/TM - “SPEED IN SPACE”?

Michigan doesn't sell anything with the phrase on it which leads me to believe they haven't. Regardless, you'll notice the shirt version doesn't have a winged helmet. I try to respect trademarks to the best of my ability.

Curious as to why you settled on DPJ instead of Shea for the astronaut.

The pose I went with looks like a WR putting his hand up for the ball

Look at him, he's wide open. Throw the ball, Shea!

It's 2019 not 2002.
