Tired of playing the GRIII sweepstakes. Especially when it seems he has more mediocre or worse games than above average. He just seems so lifeless out there.
I hope Shane shreds the KSU defense. I've been wanting to see what he can do for a while now. Now that there's really nothing to lose, hopefully they let him off the chain and maybe we'll see what could be or could've been?
um yeah, not bad when the d has their backs to the wall all day long and they spend almost all game on the field. So yes...Matteson is worth keeping. He can teach, unlike the rest of the staff.
Borges' kindergarten granddaughter could have called better offense in the second half. To those who say we're overreacting after one loss, it's not the first time Al has lost us a game.
My biggest Borges gripe is calling a qb designed run up the gut after MSU has stuffed it all day after getting six on first down. There Was a drive in the fourth quarter we made it to their side of the field and we got 6 yards on first down for second and four and wound up in third7 because of a draw call. Fitz had some room and u know MSU is looking for Denard to run. Give to Fitz or ...gasp...try a bubble screen. The outside was there for the taking on multiple occasions, but we kept trying to pound the middle.
As does Darboh according to Rivals. Darboh ran track as well. Don't know his results as I'm not a big Track and Field guy. I just think Darboh adds the playmaking ability that few possess.
Darboh can really do it all. I've lived in Iowa for 24 years now and have seen a lot of local football. Darboh is easily the best WR prospect to come out of this state in a long time. He and Chesson are very close in size, but I think Darboh wins out on playmaking ability with the ball in his hands. I've seen Chesson on film and think that Darboh is more elusive after the catch. Either way, it's nice to be able to have to discuss depth more than worry about what happens if a starter gets dinged.
Actually, I have to respectfully disagree. I am recently divorced and had to do some furniture shopping for my new home. I decided on the Restonic Tempa Gel series. It's a memory foam like Tempurpedic, but the foam is gel infused to help keep you cool and not create hot spots like the Tempurpedic can. Also, they are the same prices and less than Tempurpedic. I greatly recommend it.
Very sad indeed. The things this man and his family have done for the community, the university, and college football are vast. I refuse to remember JoePa in a negative light regardless of what others say. I believe he was put in a no win situation and did what was best for his family.
JoePa is an icon and should be remembered as such. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.
The biggest factor for me in showing the pass was incomplete is that the ball rotates in his hands when it makes contact with the ground. If you watch the stripes on the ball from the outside of the endzone cam it shows the stripes rotate. Thus the ground causes the ball to dislodge from possession upon landing. If the ball is loose and rotating in his hands when he comes down. and the ball hit the ground that is an incomplete pass
There's some great plays talked about here and most are more than worthy, but I am going to draw from something a little more subtle. Jake Ryan knifing into the backfield vs. Notre Dame to complete the stop on a drive that could have salted the game away and possibly changed the whole outlook for the season. It's been a long time since I've seen our D make game saving plays on a regular basis. Without Hoke, Mattison, and this D....this whole year turns out much differently. Even with Denard and Co. on the other side of the ball.
Video starts at the 8:10 mark when Ryan flies into the backfield like a guided missile to drop the ND tailback cold.
I can vouch now too. Thanks for the hospitality last weekend before the thrashing of Nebraska. You guys were just one more awesome thing about my first trip to the Big House last Saturday.
Either That or the 1 desmond morgan put on the running back
So happy I'm going to The Big House this weekend for the Nebraska game. My first game at Michigan actually means something in November!
What's the cost of the golf course?
Thanks. It's amazing that you'd offer that to a perfect stranger. I got a hotel in Livonia. How's that commute gonna be?
Oh, I definitely plan to. I want to see as much of the sights as I can before the game. Who knows, maybe I'll stick around and do some tourist type things for a while afterwards too. Thanks, I think I may go with the golf course as I have heard that that's the place to be. Go Blue!
Congratulations then. See what you can do without even TRYING? The guy was making his own statement and venting at the same time. Cut a fella some slack. We're all disappointed, exert the class the O.P. was referring to and let him have his moment.
Priceless! Please tell me you've seen the John Caparullo bit about being on the phone with the cable company? It's about like your post, hilarious! Well done, sir!
Yes, that was Quinn. He also had another massive brown object in his pants after that game. I envisioned him waking up in a cold sweat after that beatdown.
Because like you, me, and the rest of the Maize and Blue faithful, we're teetering on the edge of insanity because of lack of Michigan football and the anxiousness of the impending season. Of course, it could be just sheer boredom. Either way, it's very creative. Well done sir!
Many Saturdays I am stuck at work and if the game is not on ABC/ESPN, then I have trouble being able to see it. My employer disabled all P2P ports so I can't use a lot of the more reliable streaming services out there. Justin.tv and the like are too unreliable. So yes, I would love for you to do this and enrich the lives of fellow Wolverines everywhere.
Maybe Pryor is a bad egg. Do any of us know that for sure he would've been that same bad egg in Ann Arbor? That's two TOTALLY different environments to be in. He wouldn't have had the same opportunities to act that badly at Michigan. Just sayin'
This is the first thing that came to my mind when I thought of a top flite QB recruit pledges to Indiana when he could have written his ticket anywhere.
You're so right. I mean Charles Woodson was just the most feared defensive player in the country, made big plays as a WR, and returned punts too. Yes, terribly over hyped for the results. He was bar none the best college football player
Congrats on the wedding Brian. Wishing you many years of happiness. Someone's bound to get them sometime, LOL!
On the commentator point, I'd like to throw Mike Patrick's name into the ring. I've always liked him and he cemented his spot for me during the Michigan beatdown of the Gators and Tebow.

To all schools who have one of these shirts produced....way to keep it classy. Pure trash.

Not really news that he's a whiny bitch. Remember 2006? If not, allow me to refresh your memory.

So you don't think they should stop the game for the review to make the correct call? The review got the call right.

I saw gholston doing the eating motion too. How douchey is it that they made fun of denard doing it but they do it too then?

Thank you. I will definitely try to look you up. I'll most certainly have a shot with a fellow MGoFan.

That is very helpful, thank you. I don't care about the fee either so that might be the way to go. Where's the best tailgating going on?
That's fine by me. Since this will be my first trip to The Big House, I plan on standing the whole time anyway. Thanks for the help.
I don't want to sound like a Penn State fan, but wow how many times can the refs keep UM out of the endzone on the last 4 plays? Sickening.

The film from this game needs to be the Big Ten's "How not to call a game" offseason teaching tool for the officials.

You'll have to substitute Indiana for Delaware.

And then...
So yes, it's so easy to see why Woodson's results don't match the hype....they exceed them.

Perfect for Tressel.
